As someone who was adopted, my adopted mother is my ONLY mother, and I dare someone to tell me otherwise to my face. I don't know my biological mother's name and I don't care, the only mom I have is the one who took me in, loved me as her own, and raised me. MTG found a new deplorable low, this is indefensible. .

Same situation here. My bio mother left my dad and me when I was a year and a half old. My dad remarried when I was four and my step mom adopted me.

She’s a great host. All the correspondents so far have been amazing. They should just rotate forever.

meh. It's not about the arguments. It rarely is. If it were about arguments, there would be no need for voting, you'd just have the 50/50 and they'd have to be reasonable. It's like nixon saying that when the President does it, it isn't illegal. Like wanting something without having to win an argument on merrit. These people know they are opportunistic, etc. They just don't care. I figured Trump would have made that clear by now: it isn't about morals, decency and hypocrisy rarely really bothers hypocrits (kind of explains itself).

I used to think Hasan Minhaj was the clear choice to replace Trevor but now it’s becoming more clear that letting the correspondents rotate would be unique and hilarious. So far everyone of them has the charisma and timing to lead. And it’s somehow making the correspondents even funnier lol

Yes, I wouldn't mind a permanent rotation either. We could get Mondays with Hasan, Tuesdays with Roy, Wednesdays are for surprise hosts and then we close off on Thursdays with Jordan. Or something like that. I'd like it.

This would also be a great way to bring diversity to the show in a natural way. I've loved how Desi is able to make jokes about the female experience, and I imagine other people feel the same when they are represented. Everyone could win, and regularly see "themselves" on TV! And they're all great, I want to see everyone host more...

I'm fine if they only rotate with the Daily Show current staff of reporters doing it. So far Roy, Ronnie, Desi, and Jordan have been great. Haven't seen Dulcé and Michael, so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've never seen them do a host and 3 correspondent single skit before. The way it went to pure chaos was crazy. This felt like a scene that was hundreds of episodes in the making. One of those, "we got the audience used to all these sketches, but not one like this!"

Then they all ended up on the runway and Klepper said something along the lines of, "Desi! How'd you get there? You weren't even at the airport!" 🤣

Dulce fills that perfect "off the rails but on purpose" energy that the show needs.

What an a$$. One of the greatest joys of my life was getting engaged to a man who was a parent, and knowing I'd be able to be a mother despite uncooperative biology. I couldn't have loved a child of my body any more. When you love a child enough to sacrifice for them, protect them, support them, and do everything in your power to ensure that they have a safe, happy life, who bore that child is irrelevant.

When Desi smiles, or tries to hide the smile, my heart is lifted. Such wholesome goodness! ❤

You don't have to have children (biological or otherwise) to be a parent. There are more ways to be a parent and sometimes you choose it, sometimes it's thrown upon you. I've had to be a parent to not only my siblings but at times my parents and I wasn't even 18 yet.

Totally! Huge props to the writers, the cast and guest hosts are excellent, but the continuity is all about the writing.

I've seen a bunch of people here say that the Daily Show should just continue to rotate hosts and I totally agree! They've all been great.

My late father in law, an aerospace engineer and one of the first civilian scuba divers, was responsible for working on bird strikes on jets. This was many decades ago. He used scuba equipment to send turkey carcasses flying into a grounded jet. They used his data to make engines less likely to get destroyed by bird strikes. This was a LONG time ago and I certainly hope that they have done further bird strike research since then.

People say that about every guest host but I agree on her

So far Desi has made me bust out laughing the most out of all the hosts. She’s also honestly the only host that’ moved me to tears when talking about women’s health. Her delivery is just on point. she wasn’t my favorite correspondent but she has become my favorite host. i was rooting for Roy and still am , I think they should be co-hosts. I’m wondering how much of their material they write themselves. The daily show with Desi and Roy has a beautiful ring to it …

To end the bird strikes, we need management to give in and negotiate higher pay for the birds. Birds have been working too hard for too long without raises. Bald eagles are the only birds our society shows proper respect to, and it's unfair for all that wealth to be funneled to the top.

Desi Lydic is my kind of girl, her crude humor and filthy mouth makes me laugh so much. I am exactly like her (but a lot older) and I grew up taught to behave like a "Lady" cause back then it wasnt socially acceptable for a woman to behave like that. So I applaud Desi, for being unapologetically who she is and doing a great job at hosting the Daily Show.

She's the queen of the coy side eye. Dulce is savage as ever, love em both.

I don't think I've enjoyed a segment more than this one. And I've been watching for over a decade.

The version of this show from Country has only one permanent host and thats fine, but i have to admit that I really enjoyed the host rotation. So far everyone did a great job ❤ Especially the correnspondents. I think it would be intresting if the correnspondents would rotate every week. I think the way Ms Weingarten referred to wife and child was great!

But, MTG, you were not a judge, lawyer nor a police officer, I don't think you should be in Congress.

All we need to know about empty green is that she harassed a Parkland shooting survivor. Anything else she says or does is just doubling down on ignorance and evil.
