ok so here's a "trade secret" If you ever wondered how all those talk shows make cuts of reporters saying wild stuff like that (John Oliver does it a lot), there are ressources where you find all transcripts of a show You can key search for phrases the person directly said. and with an AI like chatgpt you can ask the ai to do that for you using the transcrips and then all you gotta do is cut them together

As an African American woman that was born and raised in Oklahoma I can say that this is not surprising at all. I remember being 4 years old and it was a park behind my house that my mom let go play at sometimes but she always told me " don't cross the bridge, it's KKK members that live over there. I was deathly terrified of that bridge.

Jordan would make a great permanent host. He has a great presence on camera, he is comfortable with the format and makes the viewer comfortable, and I believe with all the hard work the cast has put in over the years it would be nice to see someone who has worked hard to build the Daily Show slide into the spot Trevor left. Jordan definitely has the experience and seniority to fill those shoes.

I like the rotational host model they have been doing. Allowing Klepper, Roy, etc time to shine on the desk as well as the man on the the street and contributor stuff that they do so well is great!

Man the chemistry between Roy and Jordan was great in this clip. Klepper with his straight laced anchorman approach mixed with Roy Wood Jr.'s comedic timing, its just a great combination!

I’d love to see those official’s reactions when they’re on the receiving end of death threats & racist hate messages. I want to ask if they’d find it funny then, but they weren’t joking when they said those foul things, they were dead serious & there are people who think racism doesn’t exist within the justice system…& still won’t even after this, just attribute it to a few bad apples. Take them down to Mud Creek!

Man, I had the same thoughts. How would they feel if they were taken in the middle of the night, thrown in a trunk and hauled out to somewhere with a noose hanging from a tree? I know I shouldn't have these thoughts, but just for once, I wish they would get a taste of their own medicine. Maybe, just maybe, they would develop a little empathy after that.

Fortunately the kinda people who they make these threats about, aren't the kinda people who go around sending death threats to people who speak ill of them. That's def a white people thing.

Jordan Klepper needs to host these shows more

I like the Daily Show with the rotating hosts they've had in the last couple of months better than I ever did with Stewart and Noah. I think it keeps the show fresher as each host is really energized for their week, and they have so many talented people. I'd like to see them stay with it long term and spread the big money they could pay a single host around among all of the correspondents and others hosting the show.

My heart goes out to the person who had to skim through who knows how many hours of tucket carlson to make this genius montage. Thank you, your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I would love to see Klepper as the regular new Daily Show host. However, I would really miss his field reporting, which is nothing short of amazing. 😂

I vote for a Klepper/Wood permanent Daily Show co-host gig. They’re great! And, I really like the others! (Desi, Ronnie, Dulce) So much talent!

1) The should send ROY WOOD JR and RONNY CHIENG to all the MAGA rallies! 2) I think jordan is a better HOST than correspondent, but Wanda and Chelsea are still the best. (Chelsea was the NASTIEST of all, and we need more of that VICIOUS political snark in these dark days.) Wanda was #1 for me (and I didn't like her until she hosted!) but she should have MEANER jokes like Chelsea did.

I hope so as well. He is perfect for this show and my first thought when Noah left was that Jordan should get it. He's suffered too much for us going to trump rallies. He deserves to be behind the desk.
