I've never heard this quote but it was genius. It takes someone a lifetime or at least a very large amount of time to formulate an opinion and/or worldview. Chances are you won't sway them with one conversation. Real world season one included and argument with a white girl and a black guy. You can't. These people are what Russian services call 'demoralized', that is bombarded with so much propaganda that reality means nothing. Look up the interview with KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. The only way the hammer to drop for these people if it directly affects their lives in a negative way, otherwise their brain will work double time to bend reality. Only thing you can do is invest in education and cut out the propaganda so people like these become rare in the future.

It sure is. I listened to 4 years of Russian collusion lies, and yet nobody wants the truth. You know how the left tried to frame and overthrow a sitting president. But what is really frightening, is we have a hearing that the hearing members were picked by a person who hates Trump. Every person picked hates Trump. They won't allow Trump to defend himself. No lawyer present. No cross examination. Nothing. The hearing has a Hollywood producer producing it! Really? This is how corrupt countries conduct hearings. This is America. We have rights in this country. Except Trump. I would say the same thing if this hearing was about Clinton or Obama. Wrong is wrong. What would have happened Amber Hurd was not put under cross examination. She would have gotten away with her lies. If Trump is that guilty, then prosecute him. If they have evidence against him it will be the same done fairly as it is in this sham court.

I think the ones we saw in the clip would never agree to what they just saw (if they really haven't already in some other form), just decided not to suddenly agree with Jordan that it's indeed bs that the election was stolen. We also see a large group of people who, prior to Trump, were never (going to be) political active, most probably never would cast a vote if it wasn't for him. I know Desantis is smarter than Trump and will do a lot of the same, this time not in the open but not going all the way by having an insurrection, pressuring people etc. Trump in again will seriously undermine your democracy to a state of no repair. If Biden runs again (seriously?) it might actually be best to instead go vote for Ron instead of Joe, just to keep Donald out of office since nothing will come from the Jan 6 hearing on a criminal prosecution point of view, unfortunately. But, as a European (the Netherlands) we have been a great ally for centuries, even funded billions in todays money for you to reconstruct your country after the declaration of independence, we will try to support you and do do dealings with presidents who stole an election in case Trump would try to steal another one.

I agree, although its obvious those are in big numbers on both sides. Also this video is obviously targetting people that have no clue, I can show you plenty from Democrats as well. Besides: the trial is clearly a partisan coverup, fabricating evidence even, leaving out specific events and quotes that led up to it that would put the whole hearing in a completely different context. The "insurrection" wouldve never been one with normal security that Trump asked for and Pelosi didnt allow that day? Nothing about that in the hearings. So there is a point to what most of them are trying to say.

Kind of a rude way to go about it. Didnt seem like they were going out of their way to advocate for anything . Seems like they were asked to do an intereview and agreed. They were honest with their answers and didnt try to spin anything. Plenty of videos of people on the other side of the aisle being questioned in the same way, and giving just as terrible of an answer. I think its wrong when that happens as well. When someone is openly arguing, or debating something, then you can start to make fun of their lack of knowledge if its there. In every day American life, not many people are really talking about january 6th, its the media that is beating it like a deadhorse. So yeah, Im not surpised those girls didnt know much about it.

Every news channel was ranting about it for weeks or even months and with the committee hearings it is back in the news cycle.
