Daniel Lee I had a first date for a David Sedaris show with him reading his stuff. My date was my guest and he didn’t laugh one time. Not a single time. I knew we didn’t fit. What a jerk! Was disappointed to have wasted good tix on him! Oh well. I still enjoyed the show despite the black force of David Downer on my left, the dummy.

What separates Jim from every other comedian is he doesn't have to be loud and obnoxious playing off of racism and dirty vulgar comedy to make people laugh. He is just genuinely funny, very rare to find a comedian who's jokes are clean and PG-13 at his most vulgar and classy

I consider him and Louis CK two of the best living comedians. Two very different styles, but both are so good at acknowledging uncomfortable truths. Jim doesn't curse a ton, but he does curse. He knows when it fits. Louis curses a lot, but he does it usually for emphasis, and using the words to accent the vicarious anger and rage he's trying to express.

Mike Varosky nah, Louis just curses a lot. He could joke without it but I couldn't imagine a clean Louis C.K. unless he turned over to Jesus.

Sorry to be Mr Oblivious, but original idea behind Easter eggs is that they (hollowed) represent the empty tomb.

It was one of his older sisters. He was the youngest child and tells about how his older sister would always nicely correct him by doing that when he was gonna screw, or screwed, something up

Kind of reminds me of Chris Farley's "Sinner" in Tommy Boy.

I love this guy because he can make jokes without all the curse words and they are mostly clean.

The only other comedian I know who talks even remotely as descriptively, seriously, and cleanly is Garrison Keillor. Jim Gaffigan really has a talent.

Someone just said Happy Easter (its Easter, obviously, and I work the graveyard shift) and the first thing that popped into my head was "How bout eggs?!" I honestly almost laughed in her face.

gaffigan and louis ck are my 2 favorite comedians now....they're completely different yet both incredibly hilarious.

It's now a tradition for me to show this video to people who ask me why I don't get Christmas trees.

Kind of, but not really. Since Easter is celebrated in the Spring, people decided to throw in shit that reminded them of fertility. Rabbits can't stop mating and you can't have offspring without good eggs. Easter, it's the fertility/renewal holiday.

Jim Gaffigan is hilarious! He crept up on me when I was listening to Pandora's and Slacker Radio's comedy station. When he does the voice of the one lady in the crowd who doesnt get him is too funny.

Earlier in Beyond the Pale, he talks about ordering delivery and bringing it in his home and feeding him in the tub. Haha he says "I'll be in the bathtub. And the key is under the mat, chip chop chip!" And then he says in his 'Audience' voice, "Chip chop chip? I don't even know what chip chop chip's supposed to mean." Hahaha gotta love him!
