Jim is the perfect “Everyman”. He is so relatable. He makes telling clean jokes look easy but it takes being very talented and clever. It is refreshing to find a comedian that does not to use f bombs and cruelty for shock value laughs.

I don’t think comedians who use curse words are doing it for shock value. I think that’s how they talk off stage so that’s how they talk on stage. No comedian will be great unless they are themselves on stage. If they tried to censor themselves I just don’t think that would lead to compelling comedy.

@@ascent8487 it is too easy to stretch things out with outright vulgarity. It takes thought and intelligence to entertain in a more subtle way.

In case anyone wanted to know, stuffing and dressing are different things. Stuffing is made with loaf bread and cooked inside the bird. Dressing is made with cornbread and cooked in its own separate dish.

He got me with the robe!!!!! I wear one all the time and I’m pretty sure I look insane 😂😂😂😂

Dear Jim, Southerners call it dressing because it's on the side not in the bird. Frankly, my family never understood why you would stuff bread up a turkey's ass. We just shove an apple and onion inside with about two pounds of butter. We throw away the onion and apple when the bird is done. Added benefit of dressing is that you toss the gravy and turkey into it and then you got yourself another good ol' meal. Thank you for these compilations they're hilarious

It was my understanding that it was originally done that way to save room with such little oven/baking space. I too stuff my bird with vegies and fruit for flavor. I've even heard of people putting bacon in there. (Don't tell Gaffigan.)

Jim, your comments about the fruit cake are hilarious. In Japanese, the expression “Christmas cake” means a person, who’s often left out of the dating circuit and only get a date if/when someone is desperate (like a trip to a fast food joint after drinking)

I remember my Japanese host explaining that a single person who is over 25yo is called a Christmas (fruit)cake, “because no one wants them after the 25th” and that was almost 30 years ago!
