Toilet belt!!! No one ever gives credit to Jim’s “alter ego” character comments. Those perfectly positioned whispers in between his lines are what makes him so unique as a comedian! No one else does this- totally unique to the great Jim Gaffigan- pure genius!!

I love when the "alter ego" says 'He better not [x]" and then he immediately uses it to segue into a new topic.

Jim, you really got it. I've watched all your specials on Netflix and on Prime video. And I watch your clips regularly and I still laugh my head off. You are better than any medicine the doctor could order to make you feel better!

Everyday I wake up and think...is it “Jim Gaffigan time”....ah it’s half past “Jim Gaffigan” I slept in! As we don’t have a concept of what day it is...at least we know “Jim” time!! Take care 🇨🇦 ❤️

I love your self-deprecating sense of humour, but I'm most impressed by your clean language. That shows an old-fashioned respect for your audience and makes you a "one-in-a-million"!

My husband would always take our 4 daughters to Victoria's Secret with him to buy me gifts. He had the perfect line when walking in the store with them. He'd say a bit loudly when walking in, "OK let's buy something for mom!". Once he was in VS at Christmas time & of course he brought our 4 daughters with him. He was standing in the checkout line when apparently my oldest daughter who was in the bra section asked him what my bra size was. My husband is trying to be discreet so he tries to mouth my size but she didn't understand what he was saying so he whispered it. She still didn't hear him but apparently the guy in line behind him did because my husband heard the guy say "damn"! I think my husband just turned to the guy & grinned. Lol. 🤣😂

You know a comedian has written a bunch of clothing jokes when he can put together a 20 minute compilation on clothing.

Seeing someone comment “First time seeing you without glasses, not that bad looking.” is the PERFECT Jim Gaffigan comment.

This is the best compilation so far, though it hits home far too often. Anyone ever notice that their XL clothing turns into XXL clothing over time. You think you fit into XL because you still fit into those clothes, but when you go shopping... well you don't.

I always figure that the people actually making the clothes are actually a size 3 and have no idea what an XL looks like. And with Covid we're supposed to buy without trying on? I guess the tags better give an accurate size measurement.

You know, thinking about it; my bathrobe might be the oldest, favorite thing I actually own. It's never gone gross, or "crunchy" like some cheaper terry cloth towels; and it's a ridiculous color, burgundy. Love it.

One of my nieces stayed with me last winter while my lady was staying with me, we were remodeling and upgrading her 103 year old home. One night while her and I were doing laundry, while pulling laundry out of the drier I reached in and pulled something out to fold next.....it was a tong pantie....I held them up and gave my lady an approval sound, she informed me that those belonged to my niece. I threw them back into the drier, my niece then came thru the door and I asked her about the undies, she said I'm 17 uncle, I said " I 've seen more cloth on an eye patch". My lady burst out laughing, my niece was embarrassed and I was bewildered. Laundry with the kids with us is usually some sort of adventure.

Jim: who has the time to enjoy a robe!? Pandemic: I gotchu, fam. I’ll give you ALL the time in the world 😈😈😈

Jim always cheers me up.

Totally made me laugh , after a long day

I could see the slippers joke working for sandals too. "What do you wanna call these things we wear in the sand?" "Uhh... Sandals"

Since discovering this guy (I miss laughing alongside my kids watching him, I hope it happens again), he sort of either makes me want to throw in the towel with my own stand-up...and at the same time is an incredible inspiration. One thing is for sure though...and that is my body has become more of one (or several) of his jokes than a body I once was glad was not a concern when it applied to his jokes.
