I like those wooden cross workout planks. Good idea. I am 62 yo and on top of skill training I do similar workout about 4 times a week and I would like to add cross to my ring routine (Veterans of course). Thanks Jake. Very inspiring.
I've been a computer gamer all my life.. I am 22 years old and you have inspired me to hang it up and start gymnastics.

After finding your video a few couple weeks ago of the US Olympic Gymnasts’ daily flexibility routine I have been practising it fairly regularly. I still have a long way to go but am feeling benefits already. I’m fat too old to be a competitive gymnast myself at 40 but really enjoy the training and attempting to master some of the more basic skills. Thank you very much for sharing some of your training, and for the inspiration!

I love your gymnastic training sequels. Can you do more?. I am stealing your ideas and I notice my core strength has improved. THANK YOU
hey Jake love your videos someday I want to be a Olympic gymnast thanks for your inspiration
You are such an inspiration to me man. Was really cool getting to see you at the Pacific Rim event. Ive been doing gymnastics for over 20 years and have been coaching for about 5. I coached boys team for Rising Stars gymnastics in Marysville WA. You make me wanna train harder and push myself harder. You and Sam Makulik are my favorite gymnasts. best wishes to you always. Thank you for posting videos also with your workouts, I wanna get ripped like you man. You are one of my heroes.
Well defined gymnast. Amazed at your mind-body coordination in your outstanding workouts. Great
dope music bro I'm just getting into body weight work outs and stuff like that and dude you are a inspiration
Dude this is awesome! do you have a breakdown anywhere of what your weekly routine looks like?
"Nothing too crazy," says the Olympic gymnast, about exercises most people couldn't attempt.
Amazing Jake, please keep posting videos like this, greetings from Costa Rica!
Thanks for good inspiration
OMG im a huge fan cant wait to see you next olympics
i dont know why it was on my recommended, but this dude is pretty strong with an awesome body for a gymnast. I always hear people say gymnasts got small calves but this dude is quite in proportion, good work
wow, no wonder you are such an amazing string gymnast! keep it up
Awesome video! Great to see that your shoulder is recovering.

JAKE YOU ARE SO TALENTED AND JUST SO PERFECT LIKE OMG
thanks! I wonder whats your afternoon workout like
props to you for playing my song senses fail buried a lie!!! :D
nice videos man. enjoying it a lot. could you maybe do a video with some ring workout routines? exercise sets reps etc. please man. would help a lot. thnak you
JAKE! I love the video, brother. When did you start gymnastics? I have always had a natural ability in gymnastics and picked things up very quickly. However, I was told by many coaches that I was too old to compete. I don't necessarily want to compete but I still want to strive to perform high level gymnastics skills. What is your opinion on Coach Chris Sommer's Gymnastics Bodies program?
Wow, being a gymnast is very hard! PS: i really like the music.
Jake, any suggestions for flexibility drills for the front delts and chest? that seems to be what is holding me back with progression
"That's a wrap... Nothing too crazy." You know... just to wake up in the morning. LOL LOL All 10.0 across the board. Perfect
Great vid. Thanks for it. Question, what do you do/eat to get ripped? Also, may i ask what your weight is?
Happy Christmas jake could you make a video on your diet
Great workout!! What is the name of the songs used in this video, please?
Subbed ...for the ultra-controlled p-bar swinging press-ups, and the Buddha pull-up deals. Get the gold bro. If any other human can do it, you obviously can.
Can't believe you added an Angels And Airwaves song to this video! "Love like rockets" if i'm not wrong Awesome dude!
Wow what commitment you've earned gold for sure. 🏅🏅Good luck in rio. From Aussie 👍

Hello Jake, I have a question. Please let me know what are those pipe like things that you were holding for pull ups @5:50. Thank you in advance ! Thank you for sharing your morning circuit.
Yeah man, nothing too crazy :D

What u do is amazing and I'm 15 now and I want to be like you but not in artistic I want to be a trampoline gymnast and you motivate me even more to do it and good luck:)
How many times a week do you do rehab work? Do you target only your upper body or your lower body as well?
Cool video! I'm a big fan of u and your gym skills! Someday I hope to be in the olympics so u and gabby Douglas are inspirations to my life!😘
Congratulations !
When senses fail came on brought me back to high school!!
Great video !
Omg his boddy is just everything !
great Video :D any video about diets?
Ur amazing at gymnastics. I cant believe some of the flips u do. And the height u get. I wish i could do full outs instead of plain old back tucks. Lol

Elaina Mc You should work up to squatting 2 times your bodyweight. It's really important to have the strength base, then translate it to power (a.k.a. explosiveness or rapid force production). Read Supertraining by Dr. Mel Siff sometime, & look up Coach Dan Pfaff.
Hey Jake, if the leg lifts hurt on the wall bars, consider doing them in upper arm support on PB, I find it just as tough, get full range of motion, and no pain in the shoulders :) all the best for rio!
Good stuff!!
Missing these kind of vids!
I’ve seen you at gym your amazing 🤙🏼🤙🏼 come back to the sister location soon!!
Awesome video and circuit!!! It was a little hard concentrating on the video though cause the music was changing every 20ish seconds
You're one hot and handsome gymnast dude lol besides that you're one of the most consistent and competitive American gymnast today, hopefully you win medals in Rio this summer 😍👏😊
Hi Jake, what kind of diet you follow? Protein shake, chicken breast, brown rice, vegetables? How much? Or what else? Thx
His arms are so amazing.
Awesome!
Makes me want to train 💪
Body goals bro
Hey Jake! I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I was wondering if you ever thought of doing any skill tutorials? I'm pretty new to gymnastics (3 months) and I'm working on putting together my roundoff-back handspring-back tuck. I try and watch tutorials online, but a lot of them are women and a lot of them conflict/contradict other. I figure what would be better than an actual Olympian teaching me how! Thanks!
ABSolument beau mec !
Hi Jake i practice calisthenics, do you think that i can try to train with circuit? Currently i'm training skills with 5*5-10 sec Gold and after some dynamic but not in a circuit. I train 4-5 times a week for 1:45 h.
well done
Great video!! How do you deal with soreness at a competition?
@Soggy__Milk
8 жыл бұрын
I am a gymnast, no where near Jake's level, but I actually compete better when I am sore. I don't know about anyone else, but it makes me work harder.
Which muscle does Weight Plate Press work?

Hi jake, Do you do weight training to supplement your gymnastics? If so do you take protein shakes? Thanks u look awesome
@JakeDalton

+gugle monkey yes I do! To both questions. My supplements are I the description below.
YUM ! ! ! !
A good gym makes it possible and about 40 years younger 😅 Anyway good indpiration for a new training mix. Thank you
Awesome video! I'm a huge fan! I did a little gymnastics myself when I was a kid (I'm 30 now) and I'm still very passionate about the sport to this day. Cool random fact: I just recently started an adult tumbling class for the second after being out of the gym for over a year and half (I can't believe how hard it is when you're not as young anymore! Haha!) at a gym where your former coach, Wanda Fredericks, coaches here in Utah. I saw a little note your wrote her on the wall the other day. How cool is that!? Anyway, keep up the good work, man! I'll be cheering for you in the Olympics!

that's crazy man, I did gymnastics for like 7 years and for like 6 of them I was at gym Nevada which was Jake Dalton's gym. I don't remember for how long but Wanda was my coach for over a year maybe like 2.

***** Crazy, indeed! I haven't met her in person yet, but I'll be sure to tell her about you (I'm guessing your real name is Cory Starks?) when I un into her at the gym one of these days. What level were you? And do you still do gymnastics?
@TheIronStarks

+dasilverwelshman yes Cory starks is my name, I was level 7 when I quit and I quit when I was 12 or 13. I'm 17 now.

***** Sweet, man! I'll make sure to ask her. That's awesome you were level 7! I bet you were good! Why did you stop if you don't mind me asking? You should get back into it! It's the best sport ever! Plus, if you wait too long to go back like I did, you might regret it later. ;)
Man 35 pounds maltese press is crazy, that ligament strength is really good.
Inspirational intense, berserk ! WoHa !
Does he train legs?
