How bout "There aren't any moments when thunder doesn't strike"? We had this too in Wisconsin! They were blowing the sirens because of straight line winds (not tornado warning). They wanted people to take shelter anyway. It was scary, but intensely awesome!

I live in Whiting and we didn't get anything nearly as bad as you guys did. It looked pretty gnarly. Yesterday;s derecho was another story tho. The swath was pretty good sized, hope you faired out okay. We had 70-mph plus winds, trees down and power outages. And I hear thunder as I'm typing this so it apparently popped up fast. Stay safe!

That storm yesterday was unbelievable...my bf and I have a rocking chair on the front porch and those winds literally knocked it down and threw it off the porch onto the driveway...my bf and I had to go outside to go get it and bring it inside

Wow love this video. What kind of storm was this this wasn't a normal thunderstorm thunderstorms don't normally get pitch black like that. I just had a nasty loud thunderstorm right over top of my house last night. My mom said she was watching that black cloud and It stopped and It started pouring down.
