Thats amazing to hear! Obviously the older content is going to become dated, and will need an update for 9th with the new codex, but it should take too much tweaking. I think on the whole unit selection will remain fairly similar in an average game, but stratagems, psychic powers, Infernal Master stuff, Cabbalistic abilities will make all the difference on how things play out. It doesn't take a massive change to alter how you deploy, or what secondaries you may elect to pick.

Welcome back nick. Love your channel. All the unit breakdowns, how to paint videos. And the magnetizing videos. Keep them up. Hexfire box was little of let down (wish had rubrics), but I managed to split with a gk player. Looking fowards your return and content

Hey Matthew, thanks for the kind words! Yeah Hexfire was a bit unexpected on content, but I do see that they make these sets into mini campaign style games which can be fun. I did the split on the SW/Ork set a while ago, but that was terribly one sided playing through each campaign. Almost impossible for the SW to win. Its a good addition to a Start Collecting Set for sure, but the "designed to split with a mate" approach is clearly what its aimed at. Cant wait to see the full range of Infernal Master abilities!

Great to see you back - made use of your magnetisation vids for Helbrute and Maulerfiend (many thanks these were superb!) - definitely getting the Hexfire box for the character and the Scarbs (and hey who doesn't need more Tzangors!)

Good to hear the magnet videos worked out for you :) I guess we can all do with more goats and Terminators, and as much as the pose has been questioned, I quite like the new Infernal Master! Lets hope stocks are not too limited and we can all get the new goodies without drama

Thanks sir! Cant wait to see what the TS can do in their new update. Will it be so OP it gets nerfed within a short period (see Ad Mech), or will it be completely "meh", or ultimately will it be fun and genuinely balanced to use? We shall find out in a couple of weeks!

@@OldAverageBritGaming Part of me wants an OP codex that breaks the game for a few weeks, but cannot see it unless we get more data sheets, which looks unlikely. So I would settle for having more combat threat, and a really effective psychic phase, that gives us a chance in games :-)

@@TheKitchpp26 The Psychic phase is what makes and breaks the TS for sure. Yeah unlikely on more data sheets it would seem, but the key to success I think is going to be some of the keyword interaction. Going to have to pay special attention to those words and how that combines with the Strats and powers and IM abilities. Should be interesting to see how creative we can get. Still dont think we will jump to the top of the power rankings, but we can try our best :)

I was all in, then out and now back in for Hexfire splitting with a friend. The models actually round out my army a bit further so it’s not too bad

I did ready that a pure TS force did go 5-1 in a GT recently using the old codex, so there is a slither of hope that an all new improved one can go better than that!

I think this box and the start collecting would be great for a new starter, but current players will already have enough tzaangors and probably a shaman and then you'd need to find a gk player to split with or put them on ebay

I’ve found someone to split with now so all good on that front. The set will give me my 20 Scarabs and 40 Tzaangor🤣 which opens up for more interesting or flexible lists. Will 2x10 Scarabs with their new 3 wounds be worth a shot I wonder?

@@OldAverageBritGaming if the scarabs keep some of their special abilities or get stronger, 2 squads of 10 would be really strong, especially if you can deep strike one with a sorcerer to the back for secondary scoring. Will be interesting to see what our codex unique secondaries will be as well.

1 have 1 SC box in progress and plan to the hexfire box. Is there value in getting another SC box? Or not necessary?

Those SC boxes will be replaced with the Combat Patrol ones as with all other factions post Codex release day. The SC is good value (£103.50GBP content for £60 at RRP, and you will just double up on Ahriman. He can either be sold on or converted perhaps to another Sorcerer with some kit bash bits. If you have no other sets right now, I'd probably snag that second SC. You'd end up with the the following I think, and the next purchases typically would be a box of Sorcerers, 1-2 Daemon Engines (Fiends or Helldrake perhaps) and 5 more Scarab Occult. With the almost guaranteed reduction of Rubrics going from units of 20 down to 10, that feels really solid to me at that stage. 2 Ahriman Infernal Master 20 Rubrics 5 Scarab Occult 30 Tzaangor Tzaangor Shaman

I wonder if that decision was based on keeping it mono faction based, and that the Daemon Codex isn't announced yet. I really hope a TS and Tzeentch Daemon force will work in perfect unison as they are a beautiful sight on the battlefield!

If your going to do a lot of thanking and apologizing, do a separate video. I is a huge let down to find a vid I want information from to get 5 minutes of non-content on a slow internet connection.

Sorry you feel that way Joe. I wanted to get everything in that one comeback video for a time reason. A second video would mean a second render, second YT upload, second Thumbnail build etc, which I just didn't have the time to do. Appreciate the feedback though, my videos dont usually have lengthy intros and are on the whole straight to the point.
