Not sure that's entirely accurate? Firestorm, Doombolt, Temp Manipulation, Weaver, Twist of Fate (Death hex), Presage(Prescience), SWelled(diabolic) all for example match the same range in old and new codexes, which means under the old one they would be 6" further in range due to BoS?

I think the codex is realy solid I’ve played several games.

I’m glad it’s not gone to the top tier list so far. There are plenty of good tricks in here to take and give a few opponents a real surprise!

So Ive been reading the codex and from what I get so far (correct me if I'm wrong) when upgrading your exalted sorcerer could you also upgrade ahriman with the rehati option from legion command? Since ahriman has the exalted sorcerer keyword. Can't find the restriction for him on that upgrade.

Apologies on the delay to reply, been away :) So the restriction here is that the word "model" is used for the Legion Command upgrades, rather than keyword. Ahriman has the Exalted Sorcerer keyword, but the unit entry itself is Ahriman, not Sorcerer/Exalted Sorcerer etc. So the deciding factor is the data slate name rather than the keyword. Hope this helps!

Looking like a ton of fun options to "teleport" units around. What do you think about not putting Ahriman on his disc so he maintains the Infantry keyword and is able to be teleported around?

I’m not sure yet. Jury still out on that one. But it’s something I’ll certainly think more on when I give Ahriman his updated in depth review 👍 Usually other stuff still wins on the “who do I beam around” competition but since there are now more restrictive keywords (can’t beam my mauler anymore🤣) it could become very viable.

@@OldAverageBritGaming yeah that's what I figured, especially with the Warp Vision or Sight or whatever that stratagem is. I might try it out in a few games and see if it's worth it or not.

Yup the SOT are the new hotness for sure. Healable, obsec, khopesh swords, new soul reaper stat line and strat to double fire, so much improvement!

My hex fire arrives in 2 weeks bicus of the distens.

Yeah, but from what I've seen only they are a hard counter. I don't think its an accident, I've watched 5 battreps and GK win every time. It's ok, as they are specialised in antipsyker and demon stuff.

I am by no means an expert and I think that Magnus is good, but that we can get better for 450 points. He is just to big of a threat and will get nuked

Magnus in depth video will be soon. Very polarising opinions on line so far. The loss of a 3+ inv but there are some nice tricks to output mass mortal wounds. If he survives that first round shooting of course🤣

But i'm still going to get a Magnus and use him because i'm a casual player and don't care about the meta. I just want nice things that represent the faction properly.
