    If you take this 2k list: Ahriman, DP, ES, 3*10 rubrics, 10 terminators and Magnus, you will have 17 cabal point! 17! It would be ridiculous to have to fill the Brigade detachment with 5 model squad of rubrics)

    Yup I think an average build of TS is going to see that 16-18 point starting number of Cabal points for 2k games. Cant wait to see what we get to spend them on...

    Thanks again for your videos, with your information on units how to paint and guides in general. I would have been lost. Keep it up I look forward Tomorrow breakdowns of this new addition as it's going to be quite confusing.

    To an extent I'd agree here. There is a lot of re-used rule types with different names per faction that can disguise that uniqueness a little, but it only takes a few minor tweaks to make things change quite a lot in the way the whole army can work and interact with various objectives and stratagems alongside keywords etc

    Thanks! Yeah Titans will be resuming on the channel, probably the more mini Titanic versions first, but I still have a couple of big kit builds and paint jobs to do!

    I like the initial look at the caballistic focus, could well propel our psychic phase back to where it should be. I hope the witchfire range can make up for the weakness in our variety of shooting, but still worried about the strong melee focus of 9th and how we are going to counter that. This has really made me want the book asap, where as a few days ago I was getting worried.

    I think the general reaction from the first teaser was a worried one in the TS community as a whole, but the Cabal side has given us some hope! Melee is never a strong point for the TS and we usually try and cover it with daemon blobs, Spawn or Mauler Fiends to an extent. I wonder how much the 3 Wound Terminators will help here though if they are buffed a bit with some powers? The problem is they are slow, but can be handy in a fight.

    @@OldAverageBritGaming Agree, usually use a maulerfiend, with a forgefiend as heavy, and a Defiler to do a bit of both. That then allows for the true TS to get on with the psychic to buff them and take a toll on the oppo. I find Rubics too expensive and too slow to be effective objective holders, unless I go duplicity. Will be very interesting to see what changes we have to allow us to play 9th.

    @@TheKitchpp26 Daemon Engines are getting a buff going on the DG codex, so they should be even more effective for us very soon as well

    I'm wondering if potentially we are better off running 5 man RM squads to add those extra sorcerors and add to the cabal point pool

    The old MSU question could come back right? 2 wound, 5 RM units, generating an extra Cabal points. Pre new codex, the 20 man RM teleporting double shooting blob was all the rage! It may be a case of working out what Rituals you want to use in the games and backwards calculate what units to take to generate the points to use them perhaps. Maybe 1 point might not be as good as a 10 man RM unit for some purposes compared to 2x5. But an extra sorcerer with access to Vengeance powers might also be very worth it

    I think anything to help the thousand sons is much needed, I don't play them myself but I think its one of the coolest factions in both lore and looks so hoping to see more of them on the battlefield, Everytime I have fought them in 8th and 9th they felt a bit like a one trick Magnus delivery system and the game was won or lost on his performance so it would be nice to see some more of the army being made more effective.

    I get what you mean on the Magnus situation. Makes or breaks a game for both players in many situations, although with the new mission based 9th Ed, it did change a little. I ended up not running him that often in the end during 8th preferring double Daemon Princes and Ahriman. Cabal can only help, and basically its a free set of buffs that won't cost us CP's!

    @@OldAverageBritGaming I thinks it's actually been a bit of a theme with 8th, one or two powerfull characters holding an army together, it was the same with the Rowboat Girlyman and Cawl gunline lists and the Morty plague lists. . . Like you said though in 9th being more objective and mission driven and the introduction of the core keyword it's not as much of an issue in 9th. .

    You remember the first of the Rowboat lists? 6 Storm Raven Gunships and RG.... or RG and 22 Assassins or whatever it was. All with the old HQ untargetable rules unless the nearest model etc, with the assassin that can only be hit on 6's being the nearest at all times... ah the good old days of Character hammer!

    @@OldAverageBritGaming yeah I hated those days 🤣, before the assault cannon nerf I remember facing hordes of Razorbacks and the worst thing was I was running 4 big Knights and they would use the Stormravens in a line to make it impossible for me to move anywhere as I couldn't get past their bases. . . Not sure what was worse between that list and the -2 to hit eldar lists 😅

    Haha I faced that RG Razorback Castle too, with a Tech Marine in the bubble repairing them for good measure! All with the Assault Cannons as you said, all those re-rolls, all that pain!

    What's your opinion on what we know so far of the infernal master.? Cabal points are nice would be better if they didn't degrade when her army starts to lose units. So I'm hoping the vengeance spells are good. My biggest hope is they give Magnus The Morty buff with a 3+ in. He's far too squishy at the moment

    Yeah I really hope Magnus gets some more survivable stats. You either have to reserve him, or or rely on going first and getting the buffs off. Id rather have him more standalone! Do we 100% know the cabal pool doesn't degrade? I couldn't really tell from the wording if its at the start of the game army list based, or what's on the board during the game. Typically our sorcerers are last to die in any unit, so if it is the latter hopefully not too impacting. The IM could be a game changer with his abilities that go off like the Chaplains, but maybe unreliable if you need a good roll to work. I think that model could be an auto include though, much like Ahriman will always be! All my hopes are on some proper decent spells too!

    @@OldAverageBritGaming If it didn't degrade then that would be amazing I would definitely happy with that. But there's no way GW would allow chaos to get a good buff

    Hahaha true! The wording isn't totally clear cut just yet, but it makes sense to degrade/deplete the pool as your psychic presence deteriorates on the battlefield tbh.
