"Graduated to human skulls" is a crazy sentence. There is no scientific use for these things for this person other than the idea of having them all in one place. Calling human remains artifacts is wild and buying them in a different countries will for sure make me question the origin of these remains. Often times Europeans would/will smuggle historic pieces from other countries into their "legit" auctions. Look up the Hobby Lobby stolen artifacts that ended up in their stores in the US.

Glad I'm early, so if you're donating your body to science there is a chance it's just going to be sold to a collector like this. I love macabre stuff but I draw the line at human remains personally because I know that those people really didn't want get sold to a dealer and were hoping to be donated to a school or something more meaningful vs my bookshelf. Buy what you will as it's perfectly legal in the U.S but definitely do your research. :)

Yeah it's incredibly unlikely any of those skulls were scientific/medical donations. Vast majority of human skulls in private collections are stolen from graves of people in poorer countries. There's a good reason she doesn't want to know about the people they used to be.

I agree, this is just gross. An artist or medical student to learn is one thing. But this is just some person off the street! No educational value or anything. Super creepy!

i wish he would have asked the skull lady about her upbringing or if shes lonely, strange people like that always have some cool philosophies and it always cool to know why they're different

i'm just 6 minutes in, and i'm wondering if she ever worries about whether or not the skulls she buys are obtained ethically, and by ethically, i mean not by buyinng the waste/refuse of some organ harvesting operation.

The first caller was trying to be as pragmatic as possible for effect. Probably a legit ass person who’s really funny, has cool friends, and was a morbidly curious kid that happened to grow up valuing humans regardless of collections. Taxidermy isn’t generically weird, insect collecting isn’t generically weird, and, to some capacity, collecting human decomposed remains isn’t inherently weird. However these items were procured, the caller obviously understood the moral implications of this particular hobby. Don’t judge people for things you don’t know the inner stories of.

I would consider the Family Guy demon a bit if PTSD. After a very difficult trip one time I would have moments in the next few months to a year where I would feel like I'm tripping again... You just need to process it and move on, which you are. Deal with the anxiety and that stuff won't happen again.
