Adult Swim may have said, "Joe is done," but the Internet said "No he isn't."
I was really upset when Adult Swim canceled 'Joe Pera Talks With You', and I feel like I've had a void in my life since it's absence. Today, I came to the ol' youtube in hopes of finding something relaxing to listen to.. much to my surprise, I was greeted with this wonderful new show. It's like a combination of his old show and 'Tales From Lake Wobegon'.. I love it so much. I feel like a piece of humanity has been restored. I'll be looking forward to each new episode. Thanks so much, Joe! I love you!!

That was the best thing on Adult Swim. The first time I saw it, it was like a shock. I thought 'wtf is this' and then my brain began to change lol Couldn't look away, couldn't turn it off. After only a couple episodes I was hooked.
Joe quoting Pitbull lyrics made my afternoon 😊
Babe, don't wake up, Joe Pera posted again

The reference to Gavin Briars Sinking of the Titanic, just wow, most British people don’t even know about that music, yet here you are Joe.
My parents are moving and gave me their 1912 Waterbury Clock Company Grandfather clock. It says "Rail Road Time" on it. I wound it up for the first time in 30 years. still works.
Joe is the youngest old man since Benjamin Button. He’s too pure for such a cruel world. There’s a scab on my foot that’s been there for over two months, and quite frankly, I’m real scared

Thanks again for doing this for us, Joey. We all love you very much.
First day back to work tomorrow after 5 weeks off after surgery. I’m crawling into bed early in a feeble attempt to try and get a good night sleep. Pulling up KZread after taking a Benadryl with my nighttime routine to see what I can find to relax while it kicks in and what am I blessed with??? Holy shit, it’s a new Joe Pera!!! I must be living right. Thanks Joe!

Thank you Mr. Pera, for being in my life. The only time I'm really happy is when I'm listening to you or watching you.
There are few places on the internet as comforting as the comment section of a KZread video uploaded by Joe pera. And that makes sense because there are few people on the internet as comforting as Joe Pera. Thank you Joe I love you
Wow, did you read these comments? Nicest folks in the world.
Thank you so much Joe I love so so so much, today was really a hard day for me I'm so tired and exhausted and I'm so glad that I can finally rest while watching this till I sleep
Can I just say, thank you so much for these. I’m a huge fan, and this is what it’s all about. I even got my mom to become a fan.
I love you so much Joe. You are such a beautiful inspiration to all. The world truly is brighter with you in it!
Hey Joe, the only way i can sleep is with your sleep videos. My mum passed away recently to cancer and so I need this now more than ever. Thank you.

I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine about 2 years ago, and just lost my dad 8 days ago. Joe's voice really does help. I also like to think about all the people who might be listening at the same time as me, and it's comforting. Just remember you're not alone ever. We're all connected. ❤

Perfect length of time to make cookies or hamburger helper to.
Aw Joe, there's a clock near the beginning that sounded just like the one I had growing up. Made me think of my dad, gone since 2003. Thanks.

Just what I needed. Thanks a tonne Joe, please keep these episodes going!
Brings me so much joy to listen . Thank you
Joe, you're getting me through a nauseous migraine tonight. I hope you know how much this podcast helps people.
Joe sounds just like the guy that narrated the documentary "Alone in the Wilderness"... The one about the guy that lives in Alaska alone for 30 years... His name was Dick Proenneke.
With all those bonging noises I thought it was my alarm and got up and dressed for work, even though it's only 2.30am
Thank you - Still miss your show so dearly, but love that we still have your work. Hope you and yours are healthy, happy, and safe.
Im pretty sure this isn’t what Joe intended, but the idea of making an relaxing episode about clocks despite the anxiety that clocks tend to create is so beautiful to me. Like, maybe the reality that time marches on irrespective of our wishes is a pleasant reality, instead of a scary one.

3:25 the clock is in my brain. And it doesn’t stop.
Thanks!
I was worried I didn’t have access to the next one! That I missed it or something. You tube algorithm only feeds me certain videos of yours when it wants. I used to listen to that seventies show for years to fall asleep, until I found out they were Scientologists. and then I did Rocky and bullwinkle and their fractured fairy tales. I found you on AS as the show, and then I found you on KZread. I listen almost every night through KZread. There’s someone who put your one on loop, which is best because I also was listening to Gregory Ian isakov album and KZread came up with a horror movie trailer, it woke me up out of a deep sleep .I’d say 45 minutes is the sweet spot for me to fall asleep, so I end up having to put most of your videos on playlists. I love the music in most of them, sure the banter and the jokes but the little flutters of music are calming and train my brain to the sound. Classical conditioning- thanks from midland mi
Thanks Joe
Gerard Pique eating sandwiches with Paddington...perfect.
