    @busydadtraining hey, that's very feasible! Great 👍. I've just recently started training again, and I've been doing the one set to failure, a different muscle group a day with various different exercises, and I've been seeing results, but I'm lacking in cardio. Then I came across your channel and I'm very fascinated with this type of exercise. I've done burpees before, but I've never met a person who only trains using burpees. I'm going to work them more into my routine, and who knows? I just may possibly drop the weight altogether and pick up the burpees as only training. It would simply be a lot more, and I would probably lose that fat hanging around my belly much quicker, too! Anyway, thanks again for the inspiration and quality content. BTW, your clear and concise commentary is a blessing as well.

    If incorporating the 5-pump, should the standard rep couint be cut in half since you're essentially doing to NS's at once?

  • @busydadtraining

    @busydadtraining

    10 ай бұрын

    I'd say that's a good approach. For reference, my PR for as many seals as possible in 20 minutes is 150, for 5-pump seals it is 80, so cutting the rep count in half sounds good

    The posterior chain is not prepared for this movement. If your lower back isn't strong already, this compound movement might cause you pain. It's a great movement. You might want to progress into it by doing squats, push-ups, and mountain climbers separately for a few weeks. Only combine movements into compound movements when you are used to all the separate parts. Take your time. Injury is a considerable progress killer, sitting right next to not doing anything at all.
