Great video appreciate the direction and help in doing this correctly, I am recovering from Cervical spine surgery (5 levels fused C3 to C7)and it's been 3yrs since I have been able to even try one, I used to do 100 to 200 regular plank push ups a day, for most of my exercising, I am a retired L.E.O. upper body strength was very important and this surgery ended my career. 3yrs later and I am in horrible shape because healing and physical therapy was/is my only exercise. I saw 10 count Burpee video and no way could I do that. but your videos and direction has made me really want to try this. Because jogging is over with too. Left leg is a little lazy now. Upside is I can walk so I am very happy with that. Just to say I was able to do 2 4 count Burpees ,but very very poorly done and uncoordinated too, but it's a start. I'll let you know if I ever get passed 3 lololol Thanks again for the video, all the best to everyone.

Hey max! Not sure if you'll see this comment, but i wanted to reach out and say: A.) Absolutely love this program and these workouts. We have our first born coming in April, and I'm using this time to get into Busy Dad shape and build that routine. B.) I'd love your thoughts on how I can prevent knee pain during the exercises, specifically when bringing my knees in to stand up after the push up. I think I've got to stretch more and build my flexibility at the very least. Maybe you could do a video specifically on optimal foot placement during that part of the movement. C.) Would also love to learn about your nutrition regime =)). Thank you so much!

  • @fallofdutee

Interesting all the various 'counts' such as two pushup counts and wall-climber knee raises too. I'd imagine it's high-rep to increase volume to build muscle but at a slower rate than typical weight-based training as it's also taxing the cardiovascular system. Might be a good warm-up exercise though. Subscribed, Interesting to see how this can fit in with my mainly deadlift-focused training.

Hi. Quick question. What if I am unable to jump my feet all the way back to my hands due to flexibility and some stiffness from previous back surgeries? My back is fully healed and safe and fully fused, but I cannot jump all the way back to my hands. Is there a way to modify the movement? Thank you!

This is just what I need, thank you! (You look AMAZING for 85 years old… which you’d be if your website’s birth year for you of 1938 is correct!)
