100 BURPEES a Day for 30 Days
#motivation #fitness #calisthenics
📺 It is not for nothing that the army and elite athletes use Burpees in their exercises. One simple calisthenics movement tests both your strength and your endurance. Tayo accomplished his challenge of doing 100 Burpees a day for 30 days.It was a major success for him, beating time and exceeding his own fitness limits.
Why Burpees?
- They fatigue your muscles and lungs faster than any movement out there, but you can make yours easy and super fast
- They build character and perseverance
- They quickly improve strength and conditioning
- No equipment and less space is needed

@Pushment

Cool, did you start? You should start slowly but with consistent pace. Just keep in mind, the last Burpees always need to be clean. Once they get wobbly and out of form, you have reached your max reps or the pace is too high.
@str3123

I did 30 today, and it’s HARD. Hope to do 40 tomorrow, and eventually get to 100/d.
I jump when i do my burpees, to add explosiveness. I do them in sets of 20, with 20 pushups. So 20 burpees, 20 pushups, = 1 set

Same! I thought the jump at the end had to be included to make it a proper burpee - that's how I was taught to do them at school many moons ago.
@Pushment
Жыл бұрын
@@Rai_S82 thanks for sharing. The original Burpee does not even include a push-up. However there are many variations and a jump is indeed increasing the physical effort. I followed Ironwolfs method with a 6 ct Burpee to unload joints an back. After 50-70 Burpees people don’t do the Burpee clean anymore and dynamic loads with jumping can cause serious injuries. It depends on the level of proficiency. I started slowly and it felt right to keep good form:)
you gave me inspiration to try burpees again. I have avoided this exercise in all my exercise routine because it is intimidating to me. lol gonna incorporate it tonight.
Great results. Just the motivation i needed. I literally did 3 burpee reps in a row and gave up as I thought it was too much for me. I forget that those were my first time doing them and i need to keep going to get better. Seeing your dedication and results has definitely sparked that desire for me to keep going. Thank you brother🙏🏾.

Hey there! I'm glad my dedication and results have inspired you to keep going. Don't worry about those initial three burpee reps - everyone starts somewhere. @@Pushment yeah I understand, once you first start, it's kinda hard to stay motivated and keep going. For me personally it's because it got annoying when I first started but I do segments like 10 days, 1 month, 20 days with breaks in between so I don't stress myself out too much
Burpees are surprisingly body transformative..as well as cardio fitness boosters! Ive been doing 100 a day for the last 2 weeks...sometimes I do 100 a day all in one go..but more often I either perform 10 every minute on the minute for 10 mins..or just do sets of 10 throughout the day (some fast, some deliberately slow to increase time under tension). I know opinions differ on this, but I add either a little jump at the end of mine or a stretch of the arms overhead. My best effort is 100 in 6' 34"..which amazed me! (I'm 64).

Valid question and it took me a while to actually figure it out. You do it to set a constant pace throughout your routine. You avoid speeding up too much as you always have to implement the move. I understand your perspective. While adding a jump at the end of a burpee is a common variation and can make it more challenging, it's essential to recognize that there are different interpretations and variations of burpees. Some include the jump, while others do not. What's most important is performing the version of burpees that aligns with your fitness goals and abilities while maintaining proper form and ensuring your safety during the exercise. There's no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to fitness, so it's essential to find what works best for you.

There are many possible ways to do burpees, a little research on the internet will open your way to the burpee;) I tried to follow this burpee with push-up but without a jump in order to train my whole body but avoid too much of dynamic loads onto my joints. Hey Joel, of course it or possible to do that! However I would rather recommend to to the 100 in one set but slowing down your pace to what is needed.
