Love this dude for decades
Monsieur Pepin is knowledgeable in the art of cooking. He is clear and precise in his instruction.
I was scrolling and heard "Hi" from the mouth of an undistinguishable voice, that could never be confused as none other than Pepin. Instantly brightened my day.

Glad you are here!
I was wondering what he'd do with that petit bit that fell on the cutting board. My hearts soars when we do similar things. No waste in this man's kitchen.
Love this and Jacque .. shows that good cooking is simple 💛👍😋😋😋
The man is a legend ❤.
I love making various compound butters. I use them when I'm roasting. Spread the butter on the meat, add salt, then either go low and slow, or use a mathematical method. The butter does penetrate the meat and leaves a wonderful flavorful crust. I think I'll take a couple sticks and a tin of anchovy filets with garlic and herbs and other things and make something wonderful I can keep in the freezer.
LOVE Mr. Pépin. One of my inspirations to start cooking for myself. I appreciate his approachable recipes and style. My fave episode of his was one where he forgot to add mushrooms to a dish and he used it as a teaching moment instead starting over/reshooting it, telling us that sometimes things don't go perfectly and you adjust and do your best. Have always remembered that.

Mr.Pépin should do a video on his favourite knives to use in the kitchen!

I love this idea but I don't know if mr pepin would get in trouble with brands. it would be nice if he could talk about what he thinks are the necessary types of knives for the kitchen for sure

He could, but I think his favorite knives would be ones that are no longer made. Just a guess.

Jacques has several videos about knives. He has recommended three types. If you punch in Jacques Pepin, knives U-tube you should find it. Get a good quality sharpening steel.

I will be making this! Thank you!!
Jacques is entirely responsible for my kitchen game elevating. I watch and listen.
I put a compound butter under and on the top of the skin of turkey and chicken. Delicious, I love learning from Jacque. Thank you Jacque!
Noticed Mr. Pepin doesn't use a blender to incorporate all that ingredients. He uses old school method, but works just the same. I supposed you can substitute margarine for the butter as well. This looks delicious. Great job.
YAY! So happy for more tinned fish recipes! Thank you!

В Индия има ли подобни на аншоата продукти, които се използват в ястията ви?
Sardine butter next?
This is going in my freezer this weekend. A pound in rolls.
That last little bit on the cutting board had to be for the chef.
Amazing gonna make this tomorrow.
Sorry jacques but I'm going to have to introduce a small clove of crushed garlic to your recipe here ! I'm sure you would understand 😁

A person needs 500+ milligrams per day. Take that into account. You might learn to like some aspects of what it has to offer. Best wishes.

Ако се слага в малки количества в ястието, не би трябвало да е проблем.
The people @ Knifewear, would absolutely cringe as Jacques, chopped and scraped his Japanese style knife. Dulling the edge. But I'm sure he has a plethora of knives to choose from. Jacques would probably shrug and move on. The master.
Anchovy butter !!! Isn't that comparable to Durian butter (ugh !).
Anyone making this should be in jail.
