I have that awning. I mounted it on an Uptop Bravo roof rack on my taco. It's expensive and heavy. About 70lbs. But well worth it. I haven't used the poles yet. Not needed so far. I used carriage bolts first but went to t-nuts and liked them better. No bolts sticking up. So far one of my favorite mods. Wow! Those went way up in price since I purchased mine.

@@JesseRizo I have the Prinsu Cabrac for my 2nd gen Tacoma and plan to put the Uptop Overland AAP along with it. My question is will the OVS awning brackets fit even with the AAP installed? I know for sure the Prinsu ones won't fit as I've got confirmation on that.

That’s a cool installment. Q: Are those bolts stainless steel? is ss necessary? After a year how do you feel about your upgrade? I’m expecting a delivery of my 270 for my taco topper and planning to mount the same way. Thanks for sharing.

Question, my rav has the stock cross bars, I saw that the kit you bought came with u clamps. Do you think that there's enough strength in the mounting hardware to support the awning if I was to mount it on 2 cross bars?

Does your rear door opens with the awning installed on the PIRNSU rack??? i just installed mine on a 3rd gen 4runner (passegner side) and the awining brackets (and the waning itself) should be another 2 inches higher so doors can be operable... any suggestion how to raise the bracket??

Yes but it would have to be on like a bed rack not on the roof rack 🙌
