How would you lock up mounting system for the traction bolts ?

The roam is a great choice but it sits twice as high on the roof so it will cause more noise and drag, just my $0.02 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@DannyRocksteadyvery true! I think I'm leaning towards the pelican because I'll still be able to drive into my garage I do not think I'll be able to clear my garage with the Roam box

THAT Z FEVER that’s definitely something more than one person has brought up-I don’t have a garage but I’m sure if I did, it’d be hard to park with a roam or RTT up top.

As always, very informative; thank you! I was wondering about the Ghost Antenna; I know NOTHING about radios - is this for a 2 way radio signal boost, or a cell signal booster, or a ham radio, or...? Thanks in advance - keep up the good work!

Nice! I just picked up the pelican v800 on sale. Don't know if I want to mount it to the roof or just use it as a gun case yet tho

Hey man I’m looking for a box and mount for my Prinsu rack. How’s it holding up? Would you go with another brand or keep what you have?

I was thinking if you drilled the holes in the box to match the distance between the bars(10", I think) in the perpendicular direction, you can mount the box in both directions

mongrel420 you could mount 2 boxes, but with the awning it would’ve be harder to get into the second one.

I'm sure this has been asked somewhere, sorry if its a repeat. But... does the trunk still open with the ladder installed? If so, does it make it very difficult to open because of the weight? Thanks, good content!

It touches the top of the rear bumper but doesn’t “hit” it

Great setup. I personally would have gone with the higher up model Pelican case. The Vault series are incredibly inferior to their normal line.

It has since been replaced by a roam rugged case 83L--at the time the vault was the tallest offering available for a case of it's type. There is a follow up video on the channel with how the vault faired against the elements during the time it was on my rack.

Nope-have had it rained on and ran it through car washes with no issues thus far.

What is the gas mileage with that rack from your last video? I have the hybrid and I get an average of 35mpg :(

bought a 19' 4R pro and it had a prinsu on it. Doesn't have the slots to insert a head like this one.....hmm

It could be that the bars are installed with the slot side down. Check the bottom of the bar and turn them around if necessary
