I have a 180r 23zero and I bought the walls for it and I set it up every time I camp. I love it I love how easy it sets up, how quick it is and how badass it looks on my Cherokee. 600 bucks plus another 300 for the walls and I can tell you 💯 I don't think it's overrated

The OVS 180 on a 5th Gen 4Runner works much better on the driver's side, because the outer hinge is to the rear and provides added spacing, allowing the rear hatch to fully open.

Between my 4Runner and trailer, I have two 180 awnings and a straight pull awning. While the straight pull awnings are considerably cheaper than the 180 or 270 awnings, I can easily set up my 180s by myself but I either need a 2nd set of hands for the straight pull or it takes a lot longer to get it set up.

@@TrailBuilt no, I don’t have the time for a project like that. I have Taxa Outdoors Woolly Bear.

You are supposed to use the bottom holes in the license plate to mount on a Rigd Ultraswing.

Yep, accidentally added it wrong when I put the Ultraswing on recently. Normally it gets taken off to daily.

What vehicle is it for? These 180s on the 4runners work on either side!

@@TrailBuilt I'm actually looking for my 1997 Land Cruiser. Another comment said that it depends on what side he mounted on because of where the hinge is so are they ambidextrous or is there a specific one for the right and left side? For my Land Cruiser I might just go with the 270° awning because it'll go right over my rear hatch. And I'll probably mount it on the passenger side so I can have a shower awning on the driver side. Do you guys sell the shower awning?

Does it matter what side you order for?

It looks like you have the awning mounted to a prinsu rack. Were you able to use the factory hardware or did you have to order the prinsu brackets? I have a roof top tent mounted to my prinsu rack right now. Do you think the mount will be in conflict with the tent and can you reach the zippers for the RTT cover behind the awning?

How is it deploying and putting it away on windy days? 🤔 Do you have to wait until it gets less windy especially when you are by yourself?

Haven't been able to test on crazy windy days, but in 15-20 mph, it's been just as easy still.

We don't see it anywhere in OVS' info, but from installing, I would say, roughly 50lbs or so. It was definitely easier to install with a 2nd person while you mount the mounting brackets.

I thought the 180 and the batwing was two different types of awnings?
