"Confidence is the ability to express who you are" Okay That's easy enough. "and the ability to pursue your desires." Can you make a video about how to "desire"? I have no ambition, no motivation, no desire. Everything is just okay, I guess. I look at other people and how they long for things or how they react with such enthusiasm. It's beatiful. I wish I could be excited about something or really REALLY want something.

I have watched so many self help videos that never truly get to the point of what you must do to improve... these videos are truly life changing. So glad I stumbled upon this channel!

I probably have seen this video ten times and I truly love it each time. The best advice I ever got from Brendon Burchard at one of his live events was just get started! Even if when we start we are terrible at it just do it and get better as we are moving forward. Took his advice when starting my own KZread channel. The first 30 videos I am so embarrassed by but it's finally to a level I am feeling confident with and getting better every week by learning from others and the skills along the way. Thank you Brendon for the inspiration.

Brendon, you are a godsend! I like your point about finding a new circle, a new support group - if the people you're currently surrounded by are negative idiots. Yes, that can be hard for some people, but using shyness or bad communication skills as excuses is what keeps people trapped. Trapped by themselves. How bad do you guys want a positive life and confidence? If you're not willing to get out there and meet new people to surround yourself with, then you must not want a positive life. Trust me, I had debilitating low-self esteem due to the environment I grew up in. As an adult, I would shake from fear when learning to drive or handling a simple task at my first job. But no matter what new, scary thing I attempted, there were always stronger, kind people willing to lift me up and patiently support me. And I've found success in so many areas of life. Trust me - sometimes who you associate with makes a HUGE difference. So go and find one or two positive friends who make you feel good about yourself and be around them more. Don't be shy or feel unworthy. There are regular, everyday people out there, just like Brendon, who love to help others!
