What if the society you live in, is getting you depressed, when you are enthusiastic but others are not, where you struggle to keep the good fires burning, but you are in a cold bitter wind, yes. You can feel good, but after a week, it burns out & you forgot what made you feel good to begin with. You try & get back there in that mind sense, but it doesn't work, where you live in society where other people only care about themselves & nobody else. I can kick, for only so long, then you forgot the reason why you are still kicking.

Summary for reasons why you are angry: 1. Fatigue (lack of sleep, poor eating habits) 2. Reaction (something happened that made you upset) 3. Rumination (be careful for what thought you are replaying in your mind) Solutions: 1. Get up and move! 2. Set an intention (set things to do in the next hour) 3. Consume something positive (funny video, positive podcasts/books) 4. Take Action 5. Share your vulnerabilities (with someone you trust) --> in a funk, dunno whattodo, wana han?

Wow! All of the above! This is exactly what I needed to hear today! I was on the verge of tears all day for no apparent reason. After watching this, I realized that a) I was dehydrated and I didn’t sleep well, b) I was feeling guilty about being less than honest with a friend, c) I was angry and frustrated about a situation I’ve been trying resolve- I’ve been ruminating and I need to take a break and come back to it with some fresh ideas. Thanks Brendan!

Don't forget to feel your feelings, to grive when you need to, to burn the feeling to the end, otherwise it will come back. And another thing, there are généralisations and specifics. For example, when you have a chronic illness, fatigue is part of your life and some days are really bad so no way to get out of it, no matter how long you sleep and take care of yourself.

Diana Dax yeah... Struggling with chronic loneliness at the moment. Can't talk to anyone I care about because I lost everybody that I care about. No family, no friends... Nothing. Fuck me haha, I'm in a pickle. If only I were the problem though, at least I could do something about it, but I'm the open and vulnerable one and nobody around me is. The only people I have in my life are the ones who's idea of a close friend is seeing each other once a month. That's not sharing a life, that's crumbing

I really feel worse getting involved in my feelings. I just can’t get out of it. I’m always feeling guilty, lousy, confused, sadness, timid, etc. These days, I’m wondering how to fix things and make good life modifications, though it just doesn’t always happen :/ Too many things going on in the world in general to, and I just fully loathe myself at this point. I tried forgiving myself, though I give up. I’m overwhelmed :/ At this point I’m only trying to get my memory back, make life changes, and really figure out how to do God’s will sincerely. Other than that, I really can’t hinder dwelling over my past mistakes that I made earlier this year, my entire life, and the gruesome/blaspheming thoughts. I feel immensely upside down despite good things happening, I still dwell 😞

Thank you for your shared information and advice. I wrote down my negative reaction from having got up full of gratitude for the rising approx 745am. However, within minutes negative reaction took place which, blanked out all positivity by 10am.. I have now since recieved big hugs from my grandson, locked myself in my bedroom as its the only sanctuary I have in this house. And, search and found you. We shall see how the day goes. Im now training myself to expect nothing so as not to be disappointed. Whether or not this is the right thing to do. I dont know. But, we have to start somewhere anxiety and depression is not easy but life goes on. Somehow lol. Respect to you all moving forward in positivity. Bless up

Control your thoughts! Rule your mind or your mind will rule you. Thoughts aren’t facts. I will be rational over emotional. I find alot of people ride the emotional roller coaster and “feed” the negative thoughts. Like sitting in front of Woodburner. Throwing in another chunck of wood. Feeding it. And going deeper. The fire doesn’t go out till you quit throwing in the wood and close the door. The fire goes out. My time is too valuable to waste. It’s more valuable then $$. I am thankful every day. It’s a key to being happy.

It we have two boys and I’m in the middle of getting my Dream Career going and I just got a rental with a year lease. It today I decided this is it. I started to hear this video and yes yes it’s makes sense. I e been overwhelmed with this betrayal I haven’t went able to focus on nothing. Thank you for being a light. Thank you. I’m a happy going person. Everyone tells me I have such great energy they love my company. But like I said lately I haven’t been my self. But as I write this. I’m getting my kids ready then myself and we are going to have a great family day and when I come home. His things are already packed and I’m leaving them outside. I was triggered recently that caused anger and frustration. It lingered in my heart and brain which eventually built up last night into this morning and I ended up feeling depressed and really low. I found myself very fatigued and drained, did not want to do anything today. But, I ended up doing many of these steps you mention on feeling better, btw I hadn’t even watched this video yet! (Go me! I’ll take that as a win!) I 100% feel better after today’s events. I got out of bed and showered, I watched some inspirational videos, I called my mom and chatted for an hour about my funk, I made a few other calls that needed to be made but I didn’t want to do them (Now I’m glad I did), and I ultimately changed my thinking to be more positive and ended up with a much happier day than my depressed me version thought i was going to have. Although I didn’t get many of my to-do’s done today, I did get a few smaller wins in and made a positive difference for myself one step at a time. Anyone reading this, you can too. You have everything it takes to forge a happy and positive path for yourself. Why not start now? I’m so happy I did.

Hey Brandon, I truly been your fan and disciple for years now.... I honestly love your content and your mindset. I have all of your books physical and also I recommended you to all of my friend who needed coaching and also motivation.... one thing that I had in mind since I ever listen to your podcast, I would like to ask of you to make the sound effect of your podcast less louder since I don’t know why but I have fear of loud noise ... when u talk it’s perfectly volume but then suddenly the sound effect come and my AirPod almost burst my ear but I still listen to your podcast because it helps me a lot...... and actually I truly give u the award for the golden ticket book I truly love it and I mark it as my best read book of the whole year

I’ve been following your channel for a few months now, 7 to be exact, and it never fails to amaze me how timely your videos are. Just literally 6 hours ago i was browsing your channel trying to find something to break up some bad feelings i was having and boom here you are giving me this gem on how to understand and deal. God bless you.

I'm coming back to this video to remind myself about interrupting feeling like crap! Thank you!!! I'm so grateful for your positivity and energy and passion for helping everyone be better - it motivates and inspires me! You're the place I'll go on KZread to see a few minutes of "power up" when I'm feeling funky. Thank you! ☺️ 💙

When I am in a funk, I come to watch & listen to you. You always say the things I already know but need to hear. It makes me laugh because i know what to do but I somehow feel its not the right thing, but then you tell me exactly what I am thinking.
