Eddie, I am relatively new to your channel and have found it very uplifting and useful. Todays topic of when you feel lost was just what I needed to hear. Back Story: Widowed four years then met a wonderful man 3 yrs ago. In our 60s we put wind in each others sails, an amazing relationship was kindled bringing each other back to life in many ways. I would fathom few truly and deeply have privilege to such an experience. It was a beautifully meaningful fulfilling relationship. He passed away last month and it’s been a whirl wind of emotions. It leaves me feeling as though part of me passed along with him and it did. We had so much in common, things we wanted to do and were looking forward to them. Now to begin again mustering the inner strength to rebuild, refocus on myself and move forward. Lost-ness may be a part of the equation as I regain my true north in singularity. Life can throw us curve balls, bombs, disasters and chaos. We adapt, adjust and pivot as the path before us unfolds. Easier said than done at times but it is a choice I have made. Not every story has a happy ending although as long as there is breath in my lungs there are pages unwritten yet to be authored to make it so. For every ending there is a new beginning. I remind myself of that daily.

A lot of times this lost feeling is from constantly failing. As I told my own subscribers. I have known people who fail at everything they attempt. Repeatedly begin start ups that go under. Pursue visions that never materialize. Many times this isn't because the person is a loser--they just have bad strategy. They leap off the cliff with self belief, having no idea if there is water below or if they will land face first into the jagged rocks. They just think things will work out. Careful planning far in advance is the key. Where is the location of your business going to be? How many competitors are there? Is your degree marketable? Is it only marketable in the city and you want to live in a small town? People who don't think about these things are the ones who will continually think the universe is against them as they fail over and over. As the saying goes: the war is won before the battle even begins. Hope this helps someone out there--Charles.

These are helpful suggestions. However, I have broken out of loneliness by spending time with the Lord, Jesus Christ, everyday. The same way I eat everyday I spend time reading the Holy Bible and praising God everyday. Renewing my mind to the word of God. Also, serving in my local church helps too.
