    *Question*- what is depression, anxiety, panic attacks ? *Answer*- when we thinking so much about 1 topic continuously and specially so much negativity about 1 topic our brain it started to worry and our serta(it's like a gland which helps us to fight with fear) started to decrease and because of it we cannot stop the Negative inside our mind because of it our brain it started to take carbon dioxide instead of oxygen and send it to whole body to heart so that's why it's very common to not breath in depression, panic attacks because our body it started to be confused and sending carbon dioxide to heart and also it sends false commands to our brain that our hand is paining,leg pain or many different pain even we didn't do any hard work. in some peoples serta stop producing that's why we started to fear to do anything our confidence it started to be low.     I just have existential dread everyday. I feel guilty for being depressed all the time because I do have good people in my life and there are many things to be grateful for and this makes me even sadder for feeling the way I feel

    @@kjamison5951 True, and in the end, once that person kills them self, the person will just be showing how weak they are to themselves and other people. But, there will always be at least one person who cares about them in the world, even though you won’t know them, they’ll know you and care about you. Even your enemies might care even more about you since they actually pay a lot of attention to you. So in the end, there will always be people who care about you, no matter what!

    When I am feeling depressed instead of opening up to my friends or family, I prefer to seek the “comfort” through internet. Because sometimes we can relate with strangers more than the person that we know. Thanks for the video 💕

    I’d give anything to have friends and family y’all. I had to leave my family of origin though because they were abusive. And then later I had to leave my friends behind to go into hiding from my abusive family. And now I’m able to come out of hiding and it’s really hard to make friends even though I’m friendly and I’ve had an interesting life. People just don’t seem to wanna connect like that anymore. I think they think they’re getting most of their needs met from their phones. It’s weird it’s like offering someone a friendship back like maybe you’re trying to take something from them and instead of giving them a beautiful gift!

    I’ve come up with something I call “hidden depression” It’s when you love to hang out with friends and family.. even when the treat you like crap. But when you go to bed or when your alone you cry, think to deep and think about things you don’t want to, and you end up watching this. You know your depressed, but you don’t want to admit it. You smile and tell people I’m okay, even when your not. You blend in perfectly with everyone else. You think bad about yourself, for example, I’m fat, I’m ugly, I look like shit. And you have a friend who acts depressed for attention. You always give good advice but never for yourself.

    Literally why I'm at this video rn. I've been in denial that I've lost interest in literally EVERYTHING I've always loved. Reading Martial arts Video games Anime Horror movies Lately I've been trying to force myself to read, watch a horror movie, and play a video game on my days off. And it's HARD. I finally acknowledge that I'm not being lazy. I WANT to do these things so bad but it's like I'm being held down under water by invisible weights. Trying to swim to the surface with all my might. And I'm FRUSTRATED and ANGRY at the situation itself. It makes me want to exist as much as my motivation for these things. Which is null. Cherry on top is that earlier it hit me just how old my husband is and then I started to get anxious about his mortality. I mean he's NOT an old man. But the thought of him dying before me freaks me out. Or just him dying in general. It's why I insist on going places with him where I'm not always needed. So if there is danger I can protect him. This may have stemmed from the summer we went to a wave pool and he literally almost drowned. I was beside him and asked if he was ok as the waves went over his head. He couldn't speak because it was too rough for him. So I dove off my float and swam him to shore. I was so scared he was going to drown because it was a crowded pool. And they never tell you that drowning is VERY silent. There was no screaming "help!" Over and over like in the movies. It's 2:30am and I'm exhausted. I did what I haven't done since I was a kid. Cry myself to the point of finally being tired enough to sleep.

    @@thatoneguy4701 Where'd you got the fact that people 2500 years ago didn't die from depression or other mental illnesses? Heck, having metal illnesses at that time would be horrible because no one knee what it was and how to cure it. I'd advice you to get help, being a prick isn't something to be proud of.

    I'm seriously depressed right now and I think the hardest thing about it for me is how unexpected my depression can be. One minute I'm fine; happy and smiling and laughing, and the next minute all I want to do is curl up in a corner and scream. it gets so hard trying to explain to people that even though I was just fine earlier, I'm not fine right now. I guess I just wish that more people would be willing to really listen, and to also accept that I'm doing the best I can so if they try to push me any harder I'll fall apart. Depression is so difficult because I feel like I have to keep explaining and justifying myself, so at this point I usually just keep quiet because sometimes it feels easier to suffer in silence than to deal with questions and judgement. To anybody else struggling with depression, I understand; I understand how it feels like nobody could ever understand and that feeling of not wanting to express your feelings because you fear you'll be a burden to others. I struggle with that too. Just know that it's ok to not be ok, and that not being everything for everyone all the time doesn't mean you're failing somehow. Ok, done rambling now, just felt like I had to say that so yeah...

    One of the hardest parts of this for me is the "edgy 13 year old girl" stereotype. I am about that age and it makes it more difficult to talk to people about the stuff I'm dealing with. I do go to therapy, but I wouldn't have gone if my mom hadn't have forced me to, because I am scared of being judged.

    Intelligent Dirt As a retired junior high teacher and a person who has suffered from depression for a long time, I'm urging you to not be afraid of being judged. If you feel your therapist is judging you, find a different one. I went to a counselor who had no understanding of depression. That doesn't work. Surround yourself with people who care about you. Find the people that will understand what you're going through. They are out there, even though many don't understand depression. Praying for you.

    I'm 40 years old. I was brought up in a cult, had a neglectful bio-father and an abusive step father. I have dealt with feelings like this time to time for nearly all my adult life. It has gotten better over the last several years, and I've been managing it on my own. This morning I made the decision that I'm going to start going to therapy. It's never too late. Not until you flatline, only then is it too late.

    Therapy is too expensive here in NY and I would need about 2-3 days a week which could be about 600-800 dollars. So yeah I'll just have to rely on these videos for help.

    I have gone through a severe depression. I remember I could hardly swallow foods, felt so isolated, lost, hopeless. My eyes were sometimes filled with tears. I did feel that no one could understand what I was going through., but after months my condition changed and got out of that phase of my life. Though I still sometimes feel sad, lonely and depressed but I always remind my self that I'm not alone. I know how it feels like to be isolate,or maybe I don't know what are you going through , but I have something to tell you.. Don't take life too seriously, we can't change some things . We are here for some time so enjoy the every moment even if you are going through tragedy. This won't last long.. You are strong.

    I've been in a depressive state lately- it was same as at the end of last year: simply HORRIBLE 😓 I was anxious, doubtful and hopeless of the future. I felt worthless and became alone with no one close to turn to like a friend (I don't really have any friends anyway) I thought I do nothing great abd I'm just a waste of unnecessary space in a world of better, more successful and happier people and believing I wouldn't be missed if I ended everything then. I worried about everything I thought I had to do, even if someone else did it better, and panicked if it was done on time. It just all became darker. I know this doesn't sound genuine but it is my own personal experience and I think it's really difficult to explain and talk about your feelings to someone who you don't know will understand. But this state does and can pass. You just need to remember you are a wonderful person, in a way that's enough but remarkable, and you loved and cared for by some many people that you can turn to if you feel low and alone 🙌🌟 Alternately, you can preoccupie yourself with something that makes you happy and better inside. And you don't need to do everything you think you must do- no one's rushing you! If you feel overehelmed and stressed, take a breather and engage in something that makes you happy ☺ It doesn't go away for good, the darkness, but you're stronger enough to escape it for longer- don't do something permanent over something temporary because you're able to fight and win against it 👍=) I hope you have a fantastic day, week and life- always look upward because the future is bright and opportunity is everywhere! 🌟💙❤ And P2G, thanks alot for this video of a resonating topic- I understood and it made me feel better and more hopeful 👍🌟☺ Love them as always- they're sensational!! 💻🌳💗😁

It's like saying "Well, even if your parents emotionally abused you, you were lucky! Some parents beat up their children" It simply sound wrong, really wrong. Confronting other people problems it's not okay. Who gave you the right to say that a problem isn't *that* bad? If you always think that someone is more unlucky than you, you will never seek for help, and things will not become better, just not doing anything, things will become worse.     My depression manifests as constantly being tired regardless of how many or how few hours I sleep. It's a pain, and that's only 1 part of it. What really sucks is I've been with several psychiatrists/therapists and have always only ended up feeling worse after each session. I've kind of just learned to deal with it on my own now.

    Depression is when you don't like what you are. The best way to fight that is to make consistent efforts to improve yourself, only then you will feel your life has some meaning and it's really worth to live.     @@whos_lost you're right. I didn't exactly mean it's a good thing. It's just that depression signals you are in pain and you have to reassess the situation you are in and address the problems you face. The pain forces you to consider improving your life and you should do that because why should you suffer away? Most of the suffering that we face is all brought by our thoughts, so if we are aware and control our negative thoughts, we can get better. The best way to change your mindset is to actually take responsibility, and find your purpose. So, take action. But if the depression is severe, it's recommended to take anitdepressants and reduce the exhaustion.

    Man i remember when i had depression, when i was at school, in front of my family, i was a happy soul. Inside my head i was dead thinking of ways to kill myself, crying myself to sleep in private, wanting to die thinking no one likes me, but i for some reason found a small hope, i ignored it but that small light made me be better. But after a couple months it came back, and became violent and when i hurt my sister, i had a breakdown and told my mom why i was thinking that, and now im okay.

    I’m almost 30 at home with no money, minimal confidence and when I wanted and was proactive about change in my life, I as working fulltime and going to school every day.... then the pandemic happened..... I lost a good job I just got, I was in cosmetology school to be a hairdresser and that shut down completely Idk whats keeping me from ending my own life honestly, maybe I cling to hope despite feeling chronically awful, maybe it’s my antidepressants.

    I have Insomnia, appetite loss at morning, and at pre noon, the overeating starts. plus my shoulders ache, even tho I'm not carrying a heavy backpack anymore. And I have a loss of motivation and interest, and I'm ffeeling worthless.

    Whenever I wake up I feel like crying, one minute I’m happy, the next, in tears. I’m so sorry that people have to deal with this. I struggle lots and feel so upset.     I have depression sometimes (am on medication for it), but right now I have Seasonal Depression™️ which definitely comes out of nowhere. Most days for the past week, I’ve barely been able to get out of bed. It doesn’t help that I am in the middle of organizing/decluttering a bunch of my stuff, so the usual spots I would go spend time in are now covered in clothes and random things. I’m trying to fight this, especially since I know my fiancé is trying his hardest to help me and I don’t enjoy feeling this way, but I’ve also been putting off finding a new therapist. Decluttering everything and getting my environment in the state to foster a healthier mental attitude will help a lot as well. ...Just kind of stuck atm, but I know it will get better. It always does. (Does anyone else with CPTSD notice that they have more triggering nightmares when they’re depressed, or is that just me? Because I wish there was an option to unsubscribe from dreams.)

    My favorite grandma lives in Texas and she flew out here to see me and my mom. Today was the day she flew back. Today and as I got in the car (this was my last time seeing her before she went to the airport) I started crying my eyes out and I’ve been crying since I got home and I keep seeing things that remind me of her like the glass of water she gave me or the deflated air mattress or the pen she left and the pillow she slept on, just keep making me cry and I can’t stop! I’m so lucky i didn’t go to school today (it is winter break)

    I don’t have depression I’ve seriously have suspected my having it for 3 weeks but the feelings are gone but to anyone suspecting or struggling with depression you might have heard this millions of time but, stay strong and keep pushing through life you have so much to live for and lots of people do love you. If you ever thought of ending please get help it would be a shame to have a wonderful person leave this planet and you would cause a bunch of people to be sad and that’s not good so do it for the people who love you and hang on because things WILL GET BETTER don’t believe me? Look at all the people who have recovered from it. You will be one, one day and it may not be now but one day you’ll shine your brightest. So stay strong and hang out :)

    I was thinking lately that I had depression since I was starting to avoid friends and their texts. I personally love to hang out with them and sit for hours texting and talking. Lately, I was isolating myself from my friend group by studying all day. This went by as I stay with my friends or staying at home, but then I didn't know why I was crying for no reason at all, lying in my bed, unable to sleep, with no appetite. Though, my body was hurting a lot. I feel good by now, but I still feel irritated to text my friends, not wanting to start a conversation. So I could reach and watch this video, where I didn't realize it was uploaded a few hours ago. Btw, thank you for those meaningful videos you uploaded so far. I found those to be so beneficial for everyone.

    Number 6 ( 4:39 ) I used to feel as if I were alone with these feelings. But I met someone online who I have now known for about three years, and who I’ve opened to. She came out as depressed herself and we both supported each other. Now my brother told my mother about her and for safety reasons, my mother has forbidden me from sharing any sort of information with my online friend. This has made me feel even more lonely then from the start, and I wish I had the courage to shout back at her how I’ve known this girl for three years and trust her with all my heart. I guess people near me just never seem to experience the same feelings as I do, and therefor I could only reach out to people online.. now I can’t to anybody ☹︎

    man that statement of feeling alone is so true. both literally and figuratively for me. i like to have not many friends, why i have 2 friends i consider friend friends, because i dont want to talk to too many people, and i like alone time. then i hate being alone. its so weird and sucks. im always in this limbo state of being too alone and wanting to be alone.
