    I've been so angry for the last six years, since I had a brain tumor removed. The operation left me deaf in my right ear as well as an intermittent palsy in my face. I find myself overreacting to small issues, like doing the dishes, etc. My marriage has suffered and my husband has been bearing the brunt of my outbursts since I lost my job last year. I've come here so I can try to understand, and I know that waiting before responding is the thing to do now. That's been my biggest problem. Thank you.

    I have been watching your videos for one week. Every example of a bad trait that you described.. was me. For the last 20 years, i hid all my issues in the closet. And now they all come back to haunt me at the expense of a person i love. I have spent 9 years a self exiled hermit and i disconnected from everyone thinking i was doing okay and put myself on a pedestal.. Excuses and deflection and just not being aware of my double life (good days and bad days self). I am 4 days sober from smoking, i have said one curse word in 5 days (slapping your face helps), i have done the simplest steps to help heal my soul and my family ties, calling my stepdad Dad for the first time in 15 years. I cry everyday for 2 weeks because i am sad, and yet at the same time lighter, thankful and grateful for this life. I am too big a wuss to take my own life, and i want to stop contradicting myself subconsciously from my mental conditioning of the last 10 years. Thank you Brendon. It is a good day to be alive, and everyday is a good day to live.

Sometimes I get so caught up in frustration, seeing that I'm not where I want to be that It feels like an unobtainable goal to have the same level of control over my mind as you do. Seeing that you struggled like I have been struggling gives me hope that I can get where I want to be. I wouldn't have that hope if you hadn't shared that difficult time in your life, so thank you.

    Exactly, I think its true. Sometimes anger is good to defend or stand up for ourselves. When terrible things are happening right in front of our eyes and if we think we'll handle it with ease and compassion it won't workout most of the time unfortunately.

    +Somnanda Das I've been working on this consistently & I understood where I missed. Brendon isn't asking us not to do anything about the situation & just leave it the way it is. When we say something to someone we should make sure that it's coming from wisdom & not from our wounds & pain. If it's coming from our wounds, we end up spoiling it. When we refrain ourselves from immediately reacting, we can consciously respond with more ease, clarity & maturity. We can still stand up for ourselves, we can still confront & disagree but in a gentle & civilized way.

    Definitely this is an important video Brendon. No doubt anger is a natural reaction, but we have to manage it because too much anger leads to too little control over your life. Whenever someone makes you angry, you let that person control your life because he or she is making you feel a certain way, when in reality, you are making yourself interpret a situation. Step back, ask if the anger is justified, wonder if you will regret acting in an angry way, and pick the choice you will not regret. Amazing advice Brendon! Too many people are angry nowadays.

    Thanks Brandon for your video, and all others. This is my first comment on one of them. I'm writing today because I think this theme needs a follow-up video. I have used A LOT of your tips you've presented here to deal with my anger in my life. However, it backlashed and created another problem: repressed anger, and to some extent repressed emotions in general. I developped a problem to listen to my emotions. You can understand that expressing them and affirming myself was also a hard thing for me. And to some extent, making decisions also became quite hard, at least those that mattered. Today, after working with a psychologist I learned that letting anger out can be a good thing. Emotions are energy to be used. I learned how to express them in a positive and constructive way. As a result, I feel more honest with myself. I feel more authentic and became more at peace with myself. It's still a work in progress though. And I'm sure I speak for others when I ask a follow-up video on how to express anger and expand on the last few minutes of this one. Thanks again :)

    Anger is a natural human emotion I'd be more concerned if things happened that never angered us

    # 1- wait Train yourself ( stimulus and response) { be responsible for yourself} The Drama mind + Ego side = will destroy you. What I will do ? For last 15th of August not to take something personally. Don't be victim ask your self a key question. - how to engage with it not fight against with it. The question is how to be proud if u look at it later. -2 wonder /put yourself on other shoes When U Control u will be happy. -3 How my highest self respond? Piece and centre. Better self / imagine there is an older person of U and talk to him and take his advise. The questions we ask our self on those situation should be good question 4-Wellbeing. Hhh don't be child and make yourself better and others better { To INSPIRE} { To demonstrate}
