SUMMARY:
--------------------
WARNING: This video is not about clinical anxiety, or any serious or diagnosable mental health issue. I'm not a therapist. This is a general personal development video about everyday anxieties, not clinical anxiety or depression. It would be silly to attempt to address clinical issues here, so that's not what I'm doing and no haters please. If you don't know the context of my videos, then welcome here - this is me taking a question from one of our subscribers, not creating a clinical training video.
For general everyday anxiety and worry, it's a different approach. Here's some basic ideas:
1. Fear of loss. Too often we worry that we could lose respect or love if we fail at something. But most often these are unfounded concerns or faulty assumptions driven by a fearful, tired or undirected mind. The next time you feel anxiety, take a few deep breathes and ask, “Can I use this energy to prepare to gain something versus sit here and fear losing something? What action could I take to ready myself and minimize the chances things won't go well?” Then brainstorm actions you can take to move forward. Sometimes the easiest way to wipe out anxiety is to get a little momentum.
2. Fear of hardship. A lot of anxiety comes from feeling like we aren’t strong or capable enough to handle a difficult situation. But we have to question this assumption as well. Often, we’ve been through a lot worse and survived. And now we can use the anxiety to take a step back and better prepare for this upcoming challenge. We can turn anxiety into a strength, into a preparation weapon. Look, no matter what is coming up, you can handle it if you prepare, ask for help, and open yourself to learning and being courageous in tough situations. The tools to manage the difficulties of life are within.
3. Fear of disappointment. Often anxiety comes from the fear that we'll feel sad or experience negative feelings if things don't turn out well. But perhaps it's time to focus on the journey rather than the destination. Just focus on bringing your best to the situation at hand, and remember that everything will turn out well as long as you’re open to learning and asking for help along the way. All will be well as long as you stay in motion toward your dreams.

A lot of people making comments here are pissed that he seems to make it sound so easy when it isn't. They're forgetting the first thing he mentions is that for some people they may need professional help and possibly meds. He then goes on about the anxiety most people get.

Anxiety is the conflict between who we have become as a person and the person we were meant to be. Anxiety is the existence of conscience. The cure for conscience (anxiety) is to move toward it thus slowly eliminating the selfish side of our nature (the id).

3 years later and I’ve come so far! Thanks for that first e-mail you sent me. I had no clue what a High Performer was. I thought the email was spam. I bought the Motivation Manifesto, read it-awesome. The Charge changed my Life. I never had the confidence that I would ever be a High Performer and today, I’m closer to reaching the goal of a lifetime. Life’s Golden Ticket is an awesome testimony about second chances. Thank you Brendon! You’re honest, upfront, and non dramatic.

"They actually are fearing what they’re going to be feeling and that’s the anxiety. The anxiety is actually just a sense of, "Oh my gosh, I might not feel good.” Oh, Brendon... Precise as usual. It's always a pleasure to find myself in your words and by enhancing my awareness of how I feel and why this isn't a big deal or by discovering a new way to deal with emotions poorly directed I always grow. In your videos I always learn new and better ways to deal with my emotions and that's determinant to my success and well-being. I could never thank you enough, but, at the same time, today, it's the best thing I can do for you. So... I'm here to show my gratitude! Thank you, Brendon and Brendon's team!

I always tell myself in moments of adversity that there are always two sides and one thing dividing the two. One side is me in the present, the middle which is anxiety or fear etc. and the other would be a better me. I believe that allowing us to see the benefits and greatness beyond things we might find negative or outside our comfort zone would be enough motivation to overcome it. That way we know we come out stronger every time. One thing I lacked in the past was perspective and I think the key to everything is to see things in a different light and perspective

I just got done practicing some mind-body techniques. I’m about half way through the Calm Mind System, and I can already feel a tremendous difference!! I’ve finally gotten off of my anxiety and depression medication, and I’m learning how to take the things that make me worry and make me nervous and create positive thoughts. I still have a ways to go, but I know I will get there with this system.

All these different harmonics vibrate into your spectrum and then you verbalize them. It's It's a Win/Win. Great content, more leads, more traffic, more automatic residual income. Nice.

I saw this as an advert on crunchyroll (anime app) and right now I've just started year 10 and I have to write a speech. I am freaking out cause it's really hard but when I saw this ad... Idk he's really good at speeches. I mean, I liked it so much that I actually listened to the whole ad and I was in the middle of an episode of anime and I literally came here to his KZread channel immediately after. How does he get so good at making a speech? There's eye contact there's hand movements there's emotion theres confidence there's a bit of humour, it keeps your attention and tons more stuff I haven't mentioned yet. This is like an A star grade!! It's even better than A star! It's so good! I need to make my speech like this..😯 even if this guy read out an awful speech it would still sound awesome! I need to sound like this! Haha☺️ I would like to show this to my teacher! Wow...

Hey Brendon, I am an incredibly huge fan of yours and I greatly appreciate the videos you put as they truly inspire me. Just one problem and one that I thought that perhaps you could make a video in the future about - I find that my friends and family do not understand and see the world they way we do. The Charged life. For example, my friends do not understand that I don't study because I just love it, I study because I have the drive to do well in my exams and thus to succed in my university education and the same goes for working out out at the gym. I am trying to make something of my life, to give something to this world. To help others. To inspire them also. However I just find that in sharing my wisdom and your words with my loved ones it does not hit them the same way as it does for me. Basically, how do I go about communicating the deeper meaning of life to them? I feel like everyone should know. Your wisdom would be very much so appreciated, and I patiently look forward to your next video, keep up the awe-inspiring work Brendon :)
