--------------------
SUMMARY:
--------------------
How do you develop extraordinary people skills? Try a strategy called “Positive Projection,” which is about mindfully exuding positive energy toward others. Here’s how:
1. Honor Others’ Struggle. You feel people around you don’t know how hard you really work and how much you have to deal with, right? Well, that feeling is exactly the feeling other people have, all the time! But we forget that. We don’t see how much others struggle, which is why we forget to be kind and patient. If you want to be extraordinary with people, keep in mind everyone is dealing with difficulty and you will be a more compassionate and supportive person, which is the kind of person everyone wants to be around.
2. Take Enthusiastic Interest. Become fascinated with others. Take active and enthusiastic interest; ask about their interests, desires, fears, and dreams. When you know others’ values and passions, it’s easier to be positive with them. When you know and champion others, you yourself become fascinating and interesting.
3. Don’t Mirror Bad Energy. If you pick up on the overall energy of the masses, though, you will find that it is a dissipated and disgruntled energy, which in turn can make you feel stressed, judgmental and negative. Emotions and energy is contagious. So, be someone who is willing the energy you want to experience in the world. Choose to generate positivity and give that gift to the world.
4. Send Well Wishes. When I pass by others, I often look at them and in my mind say, “I wish you joy, abundance, health and love.” They might not know what’s on my mind, but they can literally feel good intent coming from me and a positive aura being directed to them. Try it. Just send positive thoughts and well wishes to others. They will feel great around you.

I believe it's about building an ecology of positive emotion. Meaning cultivating an environment that is inspiring, having friends that are in alignment with your higher goals, and creating habits that are positive. Then as the positive energy begins to naturally develop more and more, people will perceive it and respond to it. The power is within and meditation is what helped me cultivate more positive energy. Great video Brendon!

By projecting POSITIVITY in a GOOD ENERGY on other peope at ALL times, you're actually bringing buoyant positive energy into your relationships. How do you do that? 1) Honoring people's struggle or hardship - not be judgemental/critical/teasing people/making enemy. Instead, choose to be kind, patient, joyful, bringing love, mindfulness, compassion, full presence, empathy, goodwill. 2) Taking ENTHUSIASTIC INTEREST in people - ask & get fascinated about their interest, desire, love of life, fears, worries, dreams, values, passion. Be their Cheerleader! 3) Don't mirror people's energy especially sadness, feeling bad or hurtful, pessimistic. Be a creator of what you're willing to be, not merely a reflector of others 4) Actively pray in silence when you see/meet people: "I Wish You Joy, Health & Love!", "I Wish You Joy, Health & Love!" World, these are amazing thoughts that work wonders!!!

Ive been experiencing a new all-time low (which is saying a lot- I was a heroin addict for 10yrs, I've been homeless, and worse). Today I am clean, I live in a home w a long-term bf- but despite how much my life has turned around- im experiencing MORE stress!! I lost my job, my bf is saying we can't stay together if I dont have a job, I feel uncomfortable as ive gained some weight. I feel like I should be glad to simply be breathing as I have died before, literally, and was brought back- this happened many times. I want you to know I am binge-watching your videos (well, listening- cleaning house today)- but you have such a wonderful spirit and good advice as well. Lets see if I can turn some things around- it's worth a shot! I'll be visiting your website too. Really though, I just want to say Thank You for being there when I'm really struggling. I hope you're having a wonderful day!:)

I have been struggling for years to change my life, be positive, and become successful. But, I honestly didn't know how. For the first time I feel like you are showing me how to be the person I desire and how to reach goals that 10 yrs ago I never would have dreamed of even trying to reach! Thank you and please don't stop what you are doing! I have been telling everyone I know about you...:)

So coming from someone who has been on the receiving end of this, and they were fascinated with me and kept asking questions about myself, most definitely did not make me feel like we were on a journey. It made me upset and feel as if they might be trying to gather information to use against me later. That, or me feeling like I didn’t deserve to open up like that. Not everyone feels the same when these types of conversations happen…

Brendon thanks for the awesome video. On the point about connecting eyes with strangers passing by, I have realised when we look at people we are looking at a mirror, it's a reflection of our own thoughts and our brain associates with these images... if we are being indifferent to others we are being indifferent to self.

Hey Brendon! You just got yourself new subbie! Yaaaaaay! 🎉🎊🥳🍾 I am naturally boisterous and loud and with that I can start, continue and hold conversation. I am the typical people’s person and I know people love being around me, however what I noticed is that people tend to know more about me than I know about them (I know that’s bad 🙈, but at least I am aware) and which brings me to your second point. I don’t think I take general interest in other people as I should. I tend to be complacent with what other people voluntarily give me and not necessarily ask a lot in fear of being invasive. In as much as I have that personality, I am kinda private and I prefer people knowing me until a certain point so when people do ask me what I do believe is invasive I will politely say “Not to be rude or anything but I would prefer not to discuss that”. So with me being like that and having certain boundaries as to how far certain people, how then do you know that you taking interest in the person is not invasive. I really don’t like coming across as nosy or making anyone uncomfortable! How do I overcome my fear of being invasive so that I can be free to take genuine interest in people?

Sometimes, I prefer to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. That's what empathy is for: to connect at a real and deep level. If I insisted on imposing my happy-happy energy upon everyone around me all the time, I'd feel like a superficial fake, indifferent to others' needs. Also, I go for depth with a few close people, rather than hundreds or thousands of fb "friends."

1> respect and honour peoples struggle: everybody bleeding in their battle. thing how struggle ur doing in ur life think that they are going through the same kind of stuff. 2> Take enthusiastic interest in people. what is their desire? what scare of. Where they are been to. what is their Hobby? 3> when u pass someone with a eye contact and say in ur mind I wish joy, health and love. its work as mirror neuron

So far, I consider this video my favorite. If your books are as good as your videos, all of them would become bestselling pieces of hard work. Thank you.
