This was a great product review! You covered every aspect someone would be interested in from craftsmanship and engineering on down to how a Fretlight guitar works with apps. Looking forward to your future reviews.

Joshua Nulton thanks!
Fantastic review. Thanks a lot for your time! Buying this thingie right away! One little thing to notice is that when you keep the camera too close the focus is lost. Thanks again & Good Luck!
If Fretlight could release a device that you could plug into the output (of the older models) that could send wirelessly, that would be cool
what brand of bridge is this
Brother man the guitar contains two single coil and one double hum-bucker pickups the neck is comprised of different layers of wood so as to reduce cost it’s not the natural grain. Still a good video thank you 🙏

Thanks for the info!
Mine came in a week ago, the bridge was loose. There was glue at the edges of the fret wires. The body has some grooves that don't look like they were part of a two piece build. The guitar has two of the same strings, the E and B. The neck pickup is horrible but the bridge was not too bad. I could not get the thing to connect to my desktop, android, Iphone but it did connect to my laptop. They should have built an option with wireless to be used with a cable if desired. The software has not been updated in years. For the price and the headaches I would go for the Fretlight over the light up sticker leds that are the rage right now.
Very important question, how did the guitar actually feel in your hands while playing it? I have seen a number of reviews on the internet and many of them have very poor reviews for all the models that I have researched and I have done extensive research. I value your opinion on how the guitar actually felt in your hands and hope that you can add your opinion. Thank you

Greetings! It feels like a $100-150 practice Strat. Its def not a SG, PRS or Les Paul for sure.
Do have to have an android/smart phone, or will it work with a desktop computer?

You don't need this guitar to learn; but, in my opinion for me, this guitar paired with guitar pro on ipad has helped me visualize and memorize song tabs faster on the fretboard than before. As with any instrument you will only improve with practice, practice and more practice.
Bridge looks hella ugly. Do you happen to know if hipshot fixed bridge is direct replacement of OEM bridge?

Is it possible to add a whammy bar?

Don't think it is setup with the correct hardware for that. You'd have to mod it.

I don't think so. There is no trem cavity in the rear, where you would normally install a claw and 2-4 springs. If this were a full-blown Yamaha Pacifica, it would have been possible, but this is a budget led guitar.
i wish there were more than one color.

Binaya Shahi Agree! They are probably trying to keep pricing down.

I wish they made one that doesn't mimic a p.o.s fender.
