In case you're wondering Huohuo was possessed as a kid and the spirit "Mr. Tail," as she calls him, was sealed inside her tail. Huohuo was kinda forced to join the Ten Lords Commission. Argenti is that drama theater kid in high school turned white knight. Ruan Mei is the crazy scientist that likes to make cat cakes. Dr. Ratio loves his Jojo poses and is a narcissistic know-it-all. Black Swan is a memokeeper, a group that farms memories and live inside your head. All memokeepers have abandoned their physical bodies. Finally Sparkle is just a bat shit crazy fool and we love her for it.

Sparkle is a follower of Elation path, and she’s also a Masked Fool, not really crazy, but she’ll do anything for a laugh. Most of her actual unhinged delusion comes from thinking that she’s Aha’s chosen. Aha is the Aeon behind Elation, and notice how her theme keeps saying “Aha” in the vocals.

Sparkle has serious favorite child energy; her trailers were peak, and her kit power crept a character that's stood unmatched since release.

@@BenganGamer Raun Mei's kit did something entirely new with the PEN and Break Effect. Sparkle literally took the best parts of Bronya's chocolate and dipped it in her peanut butter. Mei couldn't replace Bronya in a meaningful manner within the team comps that were designed around action forwarding DPS's. Sparkle power crept Bronya because she literally took her place on these teams.

​@@DuonDRaven Sparkle only powercreeps Bronya completely at E2, and even then many characters benefit much more from 100% advance and cleanse in their rotation. At E0, Sparkle is surely better for Dan, QQ, JingYuan and potentially Topaz (if you use her as carry), but those aside Bronya does the same or a better job for other carries.

@@Haze4743 Also for many others like Ratio, Seele, Clara etc. Bronya is only better with Jingliu and Blade as they don't need sp + they don't have problems with sp issues that Bronya provides. But that's fine since yes Sparkle is a better version of Bronya in some way but there is a niche in which Bronya is still better.

Dr Ratios trailer is just one big JOJO reference we also got Dr Ratio for free so if u want to play HSR do it before 2.1 starts which is 21 days I believe "How does name like Black Swan and Sparkle have the scariest characters" and then there is Sam a 8ft tall space mecha who sets every thing on fire indiscriminately

@@The_Tsundere_Hahari imo healer and debuffer. Healer whoever you have and as for the other one, you can go someone like Pela for F2P option or if you have Ruan Mei. Maybe Silver Wolf would work. You can also run another buffer like Tingyun. Bronya is possible if you can somehow manage the skill points but it's best to save her for your other team if you have her.

Basicly Argenti and the knights of beauty as a whole are considered... Eccentrics... They just travel the universe to see the beauty in it and Argenti in particular will look at a regular house plant and say "You, are beautiful". Argenti is searching for his "god" or Aeon as they are called, who's name is Idrilla. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder is the best way to describe the knights, they'll find things no one usually would beautiful

Sparkle has such Madoka Magica witch labyrinth vibes to it. Especially when the drawings of her split apart like slime.

Sparkle’s trailer is 100% the best trailer Hoyoverse has ever released. It perfectly shows her insanity. Day 79 of requesting Luke reacts to the original songs from Phase Connect gen 3.

Black Swan is a great addition to my main team, because for some reason I've gravitated to DoTs completely lol. She works great with Kafka and Guinaifen (the juggler girl you said looks like Lui)

Just pulled sparkle. Was very happy after not playing for more than a month.

Sparkle's theme song has lived rent free in my head for the better part of the last week. I'll throw another name for comparison out there: Kurumi Tokisaki - but then you'd have to be a fan of Date A Live to understand that one.

Fun fact. Black Swan is the same VA that does Blake from RWBY. That series pretty much kicked off her VA career apparently as she has now done Black Swan and Gentianne from the GFL dub.

Houhou is one of my faverate characters. Shes downright adorable and needs all the hugs in the world! Comparing Sparkle to Harley Quinn isnt inaccurate, although I'd go one step further and compare her to the Joker. Shes even used the line 'why so serious?'.

Black Swan's theme reminds me of Fallen Rosemary's theme.

Just gonna add some tidbits on these characters that the trailers don't actually convey (despite being chockfull of information already) Argenti: Though he's a true knight all the way to the bone, protecting all he deems beautiful (and that of course includes you), but his goddess to whom he is so devoted disappeared and is presumed dead. Huo Huo: Yes, that's her tail talking. A special kind of creature was sealed in her tail at a young age, and he has since resigned himself to being her guardian. He was once a piece of a great monster. Ruan Mei: A geneticist who seems to be a very free spirit, often leaving others to pick up the slack as she refuses to be tied down by her experiments. Dr. Ratio: This one is literally Mihoyo looking at the twitter meme of "L + Ratio + Uneducated + etc etc etc..." and decided to turn him into a character. No really, his strongest ability has him making an L with his hand towards the enemy as he calculates the ratio needed to drop a pillar on them. Black Swan: Literally teasing many future characters and revelations with many of those cards, she quite literally is after memories, though she hasn't revealed what kind of memories she wants. Sparkle: Yeah... I don't think we can fix her. This is one of several promos they released leading up to her release and they're all conveying "No really, she's beyond bonkers".
