Absolutely amazing to think that he excavated a whole city...but the KEY PIECE was a small chunk off a small tablet. It remained hidden for centuries. Isn't God wonderful..to allow this small piece preserved..to one day see/be light again.. for us! Thank you for showing this remarkable find! God Bless!

There is NOTHING more interesting and or more fascinating than Bible Archaeology .. Zola Levitt got me hooked back in 1990 ish with a series called The Stones Cry Out with Dr Tom McCall. In 1901 Germany brings Pergamon's Altar of Zeus (which Jesus in Revelation calls the throne/seat of Satan) to Germany, so they bring the ancient headquarters of Satan there. Then in 1918 they bring the Ishtar gate of Babylon to Germany. I'd just leave such things alone to be safe.

I love these lessons! God has ensured that so much evidence of biblical history has survived. While we don't need it to have faith, it is so encouraging. And this work is important to "silence the ignorant talk of foolish people" and help those who have doubts to believe.

Very helpful especially for those people who are still searching for the truth and the journey of our ancestors.

They will never find a royal archive in Israel like in Babylon as in Israel they recorded on papyrus rather than tablets
