Maybe I shouldn't say anything, but I've died and gone to heaven. Met those in my family who died in Christ. My great-grandfather was front and center. We were all in front of the Throne of God. My grandchildren were holding onto my right arm. They were so happy to see me. They are there now, at home, playing with Jesus.

Joel, I have been there. On a visit to Jerusalem to see my wife’s parents in 2001, her father asked me what I wanted to see on this trip. Without hesitation, I said, “the tomb of Lazarus.” He scratched his head for a bit and finally said, “I think I can get you there.” These were years of intifada so it was a little tricky. As you explained, the new wall separates. But driving through back roads and alleys we finally arrived. It was an amazing moment for me. There were men watching the place. I could tell I was a bit of an oddity. A few shekels got me in, and I descended down into the cave. Same sign greeted me that you show. I took lots of pictures. I wondered if Lazarus was buried in that same place the second time he died. The words that rang in my ears as I was in there were, “I am the resurrection and the life…”. Thank you for sharing this and stirring up so many wonderful memories. I think very few visitors to Jerusalem get to visit this site these days. Of all the places I’ve been to, I hold this spot closest to my heart. Your video was wonderful. I’ll watch it again and again. Doug Anderson

Jeremiah 31:8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. 9They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. 10Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

This Proves that JESUS is coming very soon. This is a Miracle that God revealing to us. Just last year July 2022, a shocking miracle happened in my sister home when i visited her in Melbourne. That was a mid night when we all return to our bed rooms to sleep, and i heard my favorate Rev David Wilkerson preaching loudly. Then a soft gentle voice told me to " OPEN DOOR", so i did. The TV open by itself n David is preaching on TV!! I went knock my sis bedroom door ask if she or daughter switch on Tv ? They both said N0! So we all sat n listen. The message is, " Repent, do not judge, do not complain, read God' words, pray, seek God, as JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON"!! ✝️ God hear my prayers, as no one beliefs me that we are now living in the beginning of End Time. I prayed n surrenderd to God, n God showed my sis n family miracle! Praise JESUS I Love much till my last breath. TQ Jesus for saving my life in car accident n healed my neck C4,C5 fractured. Your statement at the very end was very powerful. When my grandparents died in 2020, 3 months to the day apart from one another. I thought about Lazarus story, you are right sometimes it is hard to relate to Jesus. But Jesus wept...and that kept me going through the hardest times of 2020 because I lost both grandparents who were so dear to me and I lost my two dogs. It was truly a rough year and throw in the big "C" that year top it off. I know I will see my grandparents again but that day of Resurrection will be a glorious day. But I do have to remind myself, it's okay to cry because Jesus wept too.

Many people don't know that a little less than 1/2 mile east of the Tomb of Lazarus, there is additional noteworthy archeological evidence at the Russian Orthodox Girls Secondary School (31°46'10.9"N 35°15'50.7"E). Excavations in their compound courtyard revealed the remains of the ancient Roman road from Jericho. They also found a Byzantine monument there, marking the place where Mary and Martha spoke to the Lord. From John 11, this occurred when they met Jesus on the road from Jericho (before he came to the place where Lazarus was laid). The monument is damaged, but the greek uncials clearly read, "Place of Mary and Martha hearing the Lord in (regard to) the resurrection from the dead."

I had the privelege of living in Cyprus back in the 90's. In Larnaca on the south coast of Cyprus, there is the Greek Orthodox church of St Lazarus. Orthodox tradition tells us that sometime after Jesus resurrection and ascension around 32 AD, Lazarus moved to Cyprus, probably before the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, where he became the Bishop of Larnaca. In this church there is the tomb of Lazarus with his skull on display behind glass. The inscription in Greek and English says: "Here lies Lazarus who died twice...a friend of Jesus." ...Beautiful !

The statement that Lazarus’ tomb is a monument of archaeological evidence that demonstrates hope is so very accurate. Having hope in something better gives us the strength to endure the worst life has to offer. It keeps us steady and on course when facing life’s challenges. It is perhaps one of the most important qualities we can posses; for in it lies life and death because without it many are giving up. We see it every day. Thank you for sharing!

I completely agree. The small segment where he give such relatable testimony to sum up the “why” he does this makes it so much more personal, without preaching. Nice to see that vulnerability. Similar to how Jesus was very scripture based (after all, it was His word), and yet the moments He expressed his humanity and pain, are the most relatable. To reflect and know that God experiences weeping over losing us, really ties it all together. He does not want to lose any of the flock. I am so grateful to be Christian and that Joel shows us these Biblical sites.

Great video! I have become pleasantly addicted to your channel. Especially appreciate your practical approach to biblical archaeology. It makes your content so much better than channels which focus on the "mysterious". Plus it helps us connect with people who lived centuries or millenia ago.

I absolutely love your videos. I myself am going into the Biblical Archeological field and have found your videos to be a great inspiration. The Bible is the ultimate truth and finding the evidence that helps verify it is something that should be promoted way more than it is. Bought your book and the amount of evidence in it really shows your love for Archeology and God. Keep up the good work and God bless!

This is the best History Channel I've ever viewed. Thank you for sharing your videos with us as you hope to bring the history of Jesus to life. Continue planting the seed oh, and allowing the Lord God to fertilize it. Even though Archaeology is continuing to prove Biblical history oh, the world's archaeologists attempt to continue to disprove it. Yet all they're doing is proving the truth and history of the Holy scriptures. Thank you sir and may God bless you always and abundantly

Bro I do so love your videos bringing me to see the very places that our savior Jesus walked and did the miracles of God it encourages me more and more knowing that the evidence of Jesus's works cannot be denied and yet the non-believers still mock and scoff telling any lies etc.....I've believed since I was a little kid so I've never needed the physical evidence for my faith tho I try to use it to wake up other ppl to God's truth and I enjoy seeing the places I'll not see in this life but when we are with Jesus I don't think I'll miss any of it lol oh Lord Jesus come Lord come amen

Thank you for blessing me today. Just this morning I was listening to my Christian radio show while running errands, and the host mentioned the scripture about "Faith, Hope, & Love, and the greatest of these is Love." Then spoke of another scripture which says our Faith & Love is directly tied to our Hope. I must admit that in the midst of these recent years of deception & the attacks on our families, our freedoms, and Truth itself, my Hope has been waining. So I prayed our Heavenly Father that he strengthen my Hope, and help Us All to get through these tough times. This episode has just renewed my Hope, for The Lord has said that He is the God of Hope! Thanks again! Blessings in abundance, my brother!
