Untold Archaeology of the Temple Mount - Rare Footage

Join our Telegram channel for exclusive videos: t.me/snrisrael
Archaeology at the Temple Mount is strictly forbidden. However, over the past hundred years, the Temple Mount went through many renovations, during which archaeologists were able to document incredible findings. These findings and much more we reveal in this video.
We will enter the Temple Mount through the Moors Gate, walk to the Dome of the Rock and examine where the Ark of the Covenant could have stood, see the Golden Gate, and then peak into the archives of the Al-Aqsa mosque to find out what lies underneath it.
So join us for this adventure as we explore the Temple Mount.

yes, I also had visited Israel in Sept of 1977 and was allowed into the Dome of the Rock, although I don't think our tour went under the rock. it was truly amazing and seems even more so now. I believe the Dome of the Rock was closed off to all non-Muslims because Prime Minister Ariel Sharon tried to enter the Dome. Sharon had been the General who invaded Lebanon in 1983 when the PLO was using Lebanon as a base to attack Israel and Sharon allowed the Lebanese Christian Falange to enter the refugee camps Sabra and Shattila whence they massacred the inhabitants.

Same thing in India, thousands of Mosques built by destroying our holiest of the temples & they don't even accept it. Great video. I lived and studied in Jerusalem while in school and had the chance to often visit many of the places you showed in this video. When I was there the first time we were allowed to enter the Dome of the Rock but when I went back several years later, only Muslims were allowed in. It was a wonderful experience of a lifetime for me. Your video made me really want to go back! Thanks for sharing your experiences and some great insights. :-)

I am an American Jew. In 1971 I was able to freely walk up onto the Temple Mount and walk around. Two friends and I entered the Dome of the Rock, it was very quiet and solemn, and look around. Nobody bothered us or threatened us, and we were respectful, and of course in awe of the history of the place. It's a shame that all people cannot have that experience. Of course it's also a shame that all people can't just live in peace together.

I think with all the modern technology , space footage of every spot on earth if there was a strong evidence of the temple underneath don't u all think we would have known bu now do u really believe u have to borrow underneath the mosque to find out. The temple is just another excuse to destroy the second most important monument in Muslim faith after alkebaa house of God in Mekka shame on you all for going along with it

I have a question (I'm assuming you are Jewish, I'm jewish too), don't you find all this to be extremely disturbing and unnerving? Our heritage is held hostage by the Islamic Cult, they literally used pieces of our Temple to build a mosque that is built there with the excuse of the name "Al-Aqsa mosque" being mentioned in the Quran as the place Mohammad ascension to heaven (I also have serious doubts about someone like him going to heaven) when in fact it only means "the farthest mosque". But at that time there was no mosque there. Other than the fact that it's not mentioned the farthest from what and from where. And ifnwe assume that it the farthest from Mecca or Medina, there were other Mosques than any place in Israel, in which no Mosque exist med at the death of muhammad. So they don't even have an actual reason other than a political one to build it there to stop the jews from practicing their religion, which as we know it's also our culture since these two things are strictly related in Judaism. I grew up in a secular family in Europe but we still practiced Pesach and every other aspect of Jewish culture and religion. I honestly feel frustrated by all this. May I ask your thoughts on it?

The area used to be a literal abandoned dump before the mosque was built and monotheism returned. Also whatever structure was there before was destroyed for a reason, as u should know. I'm pretty sure it was a wasteland until the Arabs embraced Islam. If ur European I'm not sure why u are denigrating religious sites used to worship The Creator, especially since u people didn't maintain it in the first place. Whatever birth right u claim is false, and those descended from the area are probably all sorts of religions now

That's so like the Americans - and Aussies and New Zealanders, etc. who every St Patrick's day weep into their green-dyed beer and claim to be more Irish than the Irish. But who for the rest of the year enjoy every benefit that the land their distant ancestors immigrated to can provide them with.

Because they said Jesus christ second coming is through a gate ,instead of on a cloud with his thousands of angel armies with judgment. 11¶Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He hadfn a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,fn followed Him on white horses. 15Now out of His mouth goes a sharpfn sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Wow. This was so interesting. Loved the historical background. In the 80's we lived in a church outside of the lion gate and looked onto the golden gate. One morning my husband wanted to go close to the gate to take pictures (it really does turn golden). There is a gate round it. He went to the part where the gate touches the wall and on the wall is scratched in, "Come quickly Lord Jesus." Right then a guard on top told him to move away but he's always treasured that scratched message that few get to see but we all need to keep in our hearts.

Ironic since the only reason the Muslims control the management of the Mount is that the victorious Israeli Gen. You guys missed that "other national treasure"... The ones known as Sergio & Rhoda! Thanks so much much for this post! It was rich with evidence of our Lord and Savior!

6:03 You guys have a mistake; The Hasmoneans were the ones to build the walls of the temple and fill them with earth. Then King Herod renovated the Temple; he rebuilt the walls and constructed large arcades throughout the mountain, which were used as pillars and supported the platform. This created an empty space under the platform which could be used for storage, passage and gatherings.
