IMO, these Edwards guitars blow the "G" company out of the water. Consider also, Edwards uses a long-tenon neck joint. You can only get that feature on the very expensive Custom Shop G's. I think I read the head-stock angle is not quite as pitched on the Edwards too which may save you from a broken neck! Great guitars! Built in Japan with pride!

I honestly thought it would be a lot dearer Jon. Especially after what I seen and heard. Stunning looks and a great sound. Worth every penny from what I can see. It’s always so interesting to see what you and Janet will come up with next 😀👍👍🎸

I bought one of these about 5 years ago new off eBay and had it shipped to me in 🇨🇦 It was great. Basically the full custom 130 model that exists today but mine had lacquer and was the off white / yellow colour. Unfortunately I sold it when I went to music school..what a mistake. Both actually lol Anyway, I’m going to buy another one in white (and try to tone down the white colour) because of the price and quality…I may get a black beauty as well. If you aren’t someone who has to have Gibson on the head stock, but want a great playing Les Paul , get one of these. And before someone asks, it’s MUCH better than an epiphone. Thanks for the video 👍🏻😁👍🏻

@@markrosenquist8259 from the spec sheet it seems the only difference between the 130 and this is the pickups..
I have a thing for white guitars also, I have a Harley Benton SC Custom in white which I have just fitted Fluence pickups to and gold witch hat knobs and CTS pots, it sounded good with the Wilkinson pickups but I heard those fluence pickups and just had to have some, my white guitars have to be cleaned every couple of days though!

Wow great playing dude sounds awesome. Yes the guitar is very pretty, I agree just love it. I own a few Edwards guitars and they are fantastic in very way. I like Gibson, but to much money for them and is why I love Japanese guitars. They are such good quality and plays so good and for much cheaper than a Gibson. Im not saying one is better than the other but I really love this Edwards white yes perfect colour. No pickgaurd looks sexy, the whole guitar screams beautiful. Great review, I really want one for my collection.

I own three Edwards. Two LP’s and the most amazing Strat I’ve played. My black Edwards LP is my most favourite guitar ever. Would never go back to Gibson. 😊

Sounds like Alnico 2 magnets. Vintage! Price wise very reasonable, if you were not satisfied with the pickups replace and still be under $1000. Depends on the output and style of playing you do! 👍 Bucket Head would deffinately change them out.

I continually find it difficult to see how Gibson maintains its stranglehold on the LP body shape with poor QC, stagnant innovation and subpar electronics. ESP/Edwards and Fernandes//Burny make great stuff that is not only a better value, but often provides more options to the player in terms of specs like scale length, fret sizes, neck radius, etc. After selling my Eclipse, I sorely lamented the loss of a guitar that brightened the faces of fellow players that marveled how un-Gibsonly it felt and played! You are getting seriously big league tones out of that guitar; maybe Chibson will start copying Edwards! 😆
