Edward’s LP’s are supremely underrated. Such an incredible value and the craftsmanship is surprisingly good!

Definitely my next LP-style buy. I’ve been eying the Custom with P90’s for a while now, and they are either impossibly expensive or impossible to find from Gibson and Epiphone

I LOVE the off-white/Randy Roads style Edwards! I was looking at one JUST LIKE IT a few months back. That green burst is AWESOME, too! ALWAYS a fan of the tear-drop burst. I won't settle for anything else, burst-wise. I'm jealous! Nice, axes, Kyle!

I collect ESP. I have a mid 90s ESP custom eclipse that were bolt-ons.

All sound great man I've got an ec1000 blue natural fade with the Pegasus/Sentient set love it will probably never get rid of it and the Mesa Badlander sounds really good too in this video just bought a JSX after watchin your videos on it and it's a great amp all around super underated

Schecter solo ll and 6 , Ltd 1000 EC and ctm , Dean Thoroughbred select and deluxe . The best single cuts out there , also I dig the new Epiphone single cuts with the new head stock version. Especially the JJ Cantrell wino and Heafy origin model. Lots of great single cuts to choose from .

Love my ESP Ltd MV-300. Had it 20 years and still can't part with it no matter how many other 'better' guitars I've tried.

I have an ltd ec401 in military green with the classic emg81/60 and it'll probably never leave my collection. Similar colour to the BK600 guitar you have but without the black fade around the edges.

ESP Japan was until 2014 the Only ESP producer. In the 90´s, they had a Custom Shop in New York City and one in Düsseldorf Germany, but only for a few years. So, ESP is an Japanese manufacturer. Until some guys form the US bought the ESP name rights. Now the same factories in JP, that build once ESP´s, are now making EII´s. The same Product, but with a new Name. (IMO a terrible Idea) The founder of ESP was Hisatake Shibuya in the mid 70´s. ESP stands for Electric Sound Products.

The E-II thing is awful. I would never pay a premium for that stupid logo on the headstock. I'll just buy an older standard ESP used.

I have to agree. The whole branding of the E-II, LTD is a mistake. They should have left it as just ESP imo.

I’ve had about 5 ltd ec1000’s and few e2 eclipses. I’m wanting that white e2 eclipse bad.

We need another one of theese but with all your gibsons!

I'm looking at getting a similar Edwards. Trouble finding a used one. Might have to order from Japan. I also live in Canada, that pretty much kills any deal I find.

Freaking love Kyle because I love Gibsons (guitars, not the company) and I love ESPs, LTDs, Edwards, E-IIs, hell pretty much anything under the ESP banner as well. I've owned my fair share of LTDs and they're always such killer workhorses. I don't have Eclipses anymore but I'm still a very happy camper with my E-II Horizon and ESP Star

You just happened to release this video exactly in the moment I am choosing for a new ESP / EII / LTD… I am thorn between an AS-1, BK-600 and EC-1000T. I wanna go full thickness but still don’t know if to go weight relieved or not.

Nice collection. The BK609 definitely is the best looking of the bunch. But that Olympic white ltd with the EMGs near the end to my ear was the best sounding. Tight but still a fat wall of sound. I'm realizing that I tend to like emg 81/85s in LP style all mahogany guitars. Especially full thickness ones like yours. It just seems to be a great combo.

I thought so also. A lot of people rag on active EMGs but damn they sound good.

Love the JB's, thats whats in my les paul bridge.

I have a JCM 2000 DSL 100 and a JCM 900 High Gain Dual Reverb 50w and the 2000 is crazy loud compared to my 900. Not sore the the tubes are going back on the 900 because my drums are almost louder than the amp

Bro! Did you get that alpine white/gold from guitar center in Glendora California? I originally bought it used from them and was upset with that crack (which was not pictured in their pics) and returned it. To me it looked like the crack went through the headstock. Even looks consistent in location when I googled cracked esp headstocks. I was soo bummed. I’ve always wanted that model

have you tried the engl cab loader pedal? your ears can compare the tones to the actual cabs and mics… does it hold up and worth-it for the price

BTW: I got that exact same ESP Eclipse in white. But with Stock 81/60´s Thats my "James Hetfield inspiration Riff Machine".

I listen to a Japanese punk band called special thanks and the singer she uses a nice like seafoam green Navigator SG

Hey kyle I have that ec1000 from 2003-2005 (not 1000% sure the year but it is the old school one with full abalone binding even on the neck) you're looking for in fantastic condition. Not mint but no cracks, chips or dings. A good buffing absolutely will make it look brand new. I'm the second owner. First owner never gigged it and left it hanging when not playing at home.. It has sperzel locking tuners added to it and a cream poker chip both from the first owner. And I changed out the volume a tone knobs (i still have the amber top hat style knobs for it) to some amber knobs with abalone rings in the top. They look nice on it. The frets are all still good but a touchup couldn't hurt them. I can shoot you some photos if you like obviously. Lol Id be down for a trade if you have a decent schecter single cut or any schecter blackjack atx model. I've mentioned before, I don't like the thin u shape neck of ltd. Much prefer the thin c from schecter. Anyway if you're interested lmk. I really do like my ec1000, mostly because it is so well built and feels solid af. But the neck profile leaves it hanging on the wall.

All the guitars sounded great. The silver LTD has a really nice bite. ESP made a huge mistake with the LTD branding imo but the guitars sound incredible.

Does that Phoenix have the stock nut on it?

I heard mostly all of the edwards wood work is in a factory in China instead of Japan

I've never played an EC1000 that felt good in my hands, they also sound really Hollow unplugged which I don't like

Correct me if I’m wrong but emgs have no load tone pots and disconnecting the tone pot has no effect on the sound

I own an ESP 901 and a LTD GL-SBT

I keep hearing the Korean factory is more consistent than indo but I haven't had enough to know. I have a Korean ec1000 and can't say anything bad about it. The frets were level and nut cut nice out of the box.

The Kelliher pickups are CHUNKY. Goddamn I better look into those for one of my guitars.

I’d definitely Compare Edwards more along the lines of Gibson LP Standard series. Instead of Epiphone.

LTD is what i like

You said, that all your ESP´s always sounded exactly the same. There is a nice anecdote. Dave mustaine was an ESP endorser before he went from Dean to Gibson. He once complained, that every Guitar he got from ESP, sounded different ( and he claims he was pi**ed about it). My guess is, that no one wanted his "Axxion" ESP Signatur guitar, wish HE designed by himdelf(!) xD That Axxion looks like Homer Simpsons own designed car, that made his brother poor. (If anyone remembers that episode)

Have you looked into Greco guitars?

I would never buy anything used from Guitar Center off their site relying only on their crappy pics and poor descriptions. LTD's aren't ever going to get much on resale anyway. If you want a guitar to more or less hold its value it's gotta be MIA or MIJ. Not that you're not getting a great guitar in an LTD at a great price point......just don't expect to get close to what you spent back if you unload it.
