He should have brought a lot more watches. He has good taste and seems to favour watches that are less common....pls invite him back. Also, the German Damasko makes watches with fully lumed dials.

Matt and Co, thanks for the shout out! There actually is a functional use to the rotating Tachy bezel. Heuer released that feature in vintage Autavias from about 1967 to the 1980s. Link below explains it in great detail, but for the Clif Notes version: "While the other major brands (such as Rolex and Omega), with their fixed tachymeter bezels, could offer the sporty look and show the average speed for one measured mile, it was only Heuer that allowed the racer (or his navigator) to compute average speeds over consecutive miles. There is an American watch company called lum tech that made a watch with a full lume dial and contrasting lume for numbers and indices. Usually a military style watch and quarts but amazing quality. Also they make mechanical

was going to buy a crappy winder off amazon until watching this. in the long run, the Wolf winders are not that much more expensive if you consider you'd have to replace your cheap winders every year when they break

Well, assuming a power reserve complication is directly indicative of how wound up the watch is, I'm pretty sure you'd have to literally be blind for said complication to not all ready be immediately intuitive as to how many times you have to wind up your watch the moment you do so, which would make wearing a watch pretty pointless, wouldn't it? I guess the real question is how long will it take for a watchmaker to put some script on their power reserve dial to read out how many turns to full at each interval instead of just a straight gauge

Buwsur Grand Seiko edges out Rolex in execution and manufacturing but not in long lasting design or marketing
