Either You See It or You Don't - It Happens Instantly - J. Krishnamurti & David Bohm | Black Screen

00:00 start
24:08 why we don't see it
32:56 we still can't let go
50:46 'acquiring' insight is not the point
56:37 listen without resistance
1:05:45 when you meet the immovable
In their fourth discussion, J. Krishnamurti and David Bohm continue their talk on the nature of thought and its time-bound pattern. Together they unravel the proposition that immediate insight into this pattern ends psychological time and breaks the pattern. Ending the 'me', the ego, 'the self' - whichever label you prefer to call it - occurs instantly; Awakening is not a process of becoming, which implies time, and in turn will just bring the mind back into the rat-race that causes so much pain, violence, suffering, and all the rest of it.
Clear your mind and get yourself comfortable, and simply listen, without judgement or predisposition, as two of the greatest minds of the 20th century provide a roadmap to instant awakening. Don't wait to 'become' better, it happens instantly if you simply See it. #krishnamurti

One has to experience both love and hate to such an extreme that it breaks the ego open and allows minds eye to find whatever answer to whatever curiosity the ego was driven there by.

Is the blockage that prevents seeing psychological illusions as toxic actually the persuasive effect of the society’s ‘norms’ that are ingrained into the masses by the unquestioning of intellectual elites? Part of the holding nature of norms is that should one reject or deny the compulsion to accept blindly the underlying authoritarian influences, one would risk being labeled as being recalcitrant or stupid or crazy or actually being insane. So the put-down factor is a powerful disincentive to even lightly question these norms that carry the power of belief and truth, implicitly. All of these norms are reinforced over and over consciously and unconsciously, unwittingly because it’s the price that is paid to be a ‘good’ contributing citizen which is taken for granted. I’d rather be regarded as good than risk its alternatives. The question is: should I run with the crowd or stand alone while living in the same vicinity as the rest of the mob?

Which one is your God? Is he or she. James in the bible did not call his God on the matter he said... Well, check James 4:14 yourself; his courage to name the elephant in the room is chilling😂.

I have to be very careful on what I say, for what I say declares I am not saying anything. However, it’s either experienced or it isn’t. Simple as that.
