    emmy i love the way you take the time to pronounce words from different cultures/languages correctly, most non-latino people don’t and wouldn’t bother for mexican food but you always do as well as for other cultures and it means a lot

    @@EatTwinkies13 Latino usually refers to those of Latin American origin or descent, whereas hispanic is more of a subcategory that only includes latinos who speak Spanish. However, the term Hispanic may be controversial to some, as it implies a sort of connection to Spain (ancestry, culture, etc). So, while all Mexicans may identify as latino, some might not like term "hispanic" (for instance, indigenous populations), not to mention, the current origin of the term being the US government's redefinition of "hispanic" for use in the US Census establishing it as more of an artificial term that some people aren't comfortable identifying with

    I will recommend you to actually put the water in the strainer so you actually get all the paste out of it. Also, if you try to make your own tortillas, it will taste much better. They are not so difficult and much more tastier than store bought ones. Oh, if you add a tomato to the consomé, ir would taste really good. Love you channel. ❤️

    Mexico has great ideas for food combinations. I love variety. Did you know that potatoes came originally from central America? I'm Irish, they became a huge accurate stereotype of our culture and heritage. I love it. The population of the Republic of Ireland is around 4.8 million (our census is every 4 years), and I think Northern Ireland is around 2 million ish(?)...so lets say 7 million people on the island of Ireland approximately. Plus 80 million people abroad of Irish decent...that wouldn't have happened without the huge food output of potatoes in Irish soil. Anyone who opposes cultural appropriation is racist by definition and I probably wouldn't be alive, along wuth most of the global Irish population without it, because our population was made possible to expand with the potato. I love EmmyMadeInJapan. Finding out new dishes from around the world. Contacting locals like that lovely Mexican lady and the other KZread channel. Trying out new dishes and Ideas. I love it. Well done EmmyMadeInJapan. Yiu are awesome. Cultural appropriation is a massive part in ending racism around the world. We should all be able to share is the best of what the world has to offer, regardless of our cultural background, skin colour or country. I love you all. 😎🇬🇧❤💙🇮🇪💚🧡🇺🇲❤💙🇨🇳❤🇯🇵❤🇲🇽💚❤😎👍🙋‍♂️👏

    It depends on how the appropriation is done. White ppl dressing sexy and then putting on a Native ceremonial feather war bonnet and calling it a costume is insulting AF, especially since actual Natives were killed for wearing traditional clothing. Or jerks like Katee Perree

  • @davidodonovan1699

    @davidodonovan1699

    @@mframemusicdtp do you have a problem with black women learning Irish dancing? I don't, and I've seen it on KZread. The only difference between that and what you just described isna change in skin colour. Most Indians where killed by other Indian tribes until the very end of the conflict, as well as the flees in the blankets that the science had not been discovered about yet. Your acting like the medieval bigots thag blamed the Jews for the black death, even though its now know that Jewish religious hygiene standards over Christian hygiene standards at the time, was likely why so many Jews survived where Christians didn't. You racist.
