If you're wondering what a blood type O person should eat, then you've come to the right place! In this video, I cook a meal specifically for people with the O blood type.
The Blood Type Diet was created by naturopath Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. D'Adamo claims that the foods you eat react chemically with your blood type. If you follow a diet designed for your blood type, your body will digest food more efficiently. You'll lose weight, have more energy, and help prevent disease.

I am 73, years ago, I stuck to the o type diet and thrived! then I got bored with it, and started eating wrong, and I feel terrible, I am now going back to o, I am on no medications and exercise daily, I am American Indian and African American, I very rarely get sick because I take care of my mental, emotional and physical health, I refuse to go to traditional doctors if others want to do so that's their choice.

About 11 years ago I tried to go vegan and unfamiliar of being a Type O diet while going through menopause. Bad idea! After a year, I was a mess. I lost too much weight had a lot of digestive issues, skin, headaches, you name it I felt lousy and no energy. I finally read the book and found that I needed to eat red meat which I did and began to feel so much better. I also learned that it's important that O's have hemi iron derived from red meat in their diet. Grass fed meats, mostly beef, bison and lamb and all organic fruits and veggies, good thing I love to cook. Everything else not so good for an Type O I enjoy with conscious moderation.

You should consider not seasoning with the seasoning containers over the heat. It can cause mold. Put sesoning in a little bowl and pour over steaming food.

I did well on a vegetarian diet when I lived in NYC. Tons of Asian food readily available that made it easy and affordable to find food. I lost a TON of weight! (For me that was good). Currently, I’m following a standard Otype diet and I find it easier and less restrictive now that I live in central Florida.

Thanks for sharing and encouraging others to cook. Experimenting and making your own meals is rewarding and delicious. Type O negative here. Started keto in late 2019. Once I got carbs down to less than 20 grams per day, my body told me I needed more beef. In January 2020 I became more ketovore and in less than a month I had so many changes. A limp in my hip that I had since an auto accident in 1990 went away. Amazing! No more rosacea... no more TMJ. Being compound heterozygous with MTHFR gene mutations I only get about 50% of the B vitamins that I need from meat. So, supplementing with a methyl B complex and eating more meat has turned my life around. Do like Jeff says and follow your blood type diet. Try new things and listen to your body. Give your body what it needs and allow it to heal itself. Don't just accept the mental and physical illnesses that you have as life sentences. Just make small changes in your diet and life one at a time... but continue to build on them. Always strive to feel better. You deserve it!

I've just switched from a wholefood low fat, low protein, plantbased diet, that I decided to go on two and a half years ago for high cholestrol issues, I'm 62, I felt good initially, but in the last six months, I knew something wasn't right. I'm a type O+ Hunter genotype. We don't do well on gluten or soya bean products, we do well on meat and animal fat! I'm feeling better already, I think I was definately in need of the protein and fat. I would say my cholestrol went up when I was eating a lot of cream and yogurt a one time. O's have the ability to handle meat, eggs, etc. I avoid all dairy though still. Understanding the bloodtype diet has helped me understand the diet wars out there, I love that, now I can appreciate and respect people's food preferences without getting dogmatic. Thank you Dr D Adamo!❤

O+ here and when I eat 100-130 g of protein daily (with a balance of greens and some carbs) my cravings are completely gone and mentally I can concentrate much better. As a kid we didn’t eat a lot of meat and my legs and arms kept a bruise or 3. They appeared and I never knew why….I never bruise now. I have done a week or 2 without meat for seasonal detoxing but in general you can find me grilling steak and searing lamb and roasting kale. I love this channel.
