Awesome dude. I'm picking up a 1988 f150 5.8 5 speed 4x4 with a lift as a donor vehicle and looking for another brinck nose bronco to swap the complete drive train and axels into it. Miss my 87 and 96, both were auto sadly.

These trucks like alot of other vehicles have factory mounting points for the clutch pedal and master cylinder. I didnt mess with any computer stuff and i havent had any issues. As far as the driveshaft im not sure you'll just have to put your tranny in (with the donor truck tranny mount) and see.

Hey man, sweet video. I got a 1996 with a 300 inline in it, looking to do this swap too. It's got a e4od Seeing if you have any idea of the computer changes needed done or anything like that ? Since it's 96 it's got mass air flow, and obd2 but don't think it'll be a problem. Just unsure as iv never done a auto to manual swap. But it seems pretty straightforward. Thinking of pulling off of a donor truck and/orscraping together bits, also wondering how much it cost you in all? Other than your time lol. Thanks

Thanks dude. I dont have a sure answer for you on the specifics of an inline 300. But I will say ive done a few swaps on different vehicles all of them auto to manual, only 1 of them 96 and newer and it was a mustang which i did need to swap computers. In any case i would recomend a doner vehicle if possible obviously. I bought the zf5 trans, pedals, and master cylinder off a truck a guy was parting out for 800. I bought a new flywheel and clutch from rock auto for 200. Then i had to lengthen my driveshaft cuz the 5 speed was shorter. Cost me 75. I also had to get a trans crossmember. About 1100 total. It took me about 10 hours to finish the job.

No worries, thanks for uploading the video, and the quick reply damn, helping to educate worldwide. How's the difference power wise ? Was it harder with the Mustang than the rest? Unsure about the electronic aspect of it, if it's going to make it more of a bitch as I don't know much on that side of things. Sorry bout so many question. Thanks

Its hard to say dude. Probly just have to keep fighting it. Did you remove the input shaft when the tranny was out? Did you replace the pilot bearing? Maybe its the wrong size. Honestly though usualy when I cant get a tranny to go back in in a couple tries or reletively easily theres something wrong so maybe double check everything and just sit and think about it. Let me know what it was when you figure it out. Lol
