Im excited to see this go into production. I have a 4R100 in my 2008 F150 and I have had it apart and back together twice. Its a great transmission and I love the way it shifts. The ability to have this all manual and with a brake is just unreal. I think this is a huge market just waiting to be fed. Thank you John for looking at this> I would run a 4R100 in multiple vehicles if possible. Coan Racing builds 9" converters for the C6 , Maybe they could do one for a E40D.. .Be worth asking

I want one for my 1970 f100! I'm putting an efi 460 in it and would love to use the tranny that's bolted to it (e4od) but I'd rather have a zf5. This would be the best of both worlds.

Figuring it all out to make it how you want it will make for an awesome piece in the end.

Is there any way to get rid of the electronic control and keep it automatic or can you run a manual valve body on the street

Is your valve body finished yet I am interested in one for a project that my girlfriend and I are starting? When I was young my father had 69 mustang with a 351 Cleveland that was built by Jerry Hartman who owned Hartman’s driveshaft in Reading Pa and the car had a c4 with a manual value B&m and it was awesome and I would like to be able to have the same but in a 95 f150 4.9 e40d. Thank You

The second you get these out I’m going to have one on order!! You would open up a huge market for 7.3 guys and even people who want to do a Cummins swap on their ford, I hear of people who have a hard time tuning the trans to work right with the Cummins swap, this would be the best thing instead! I’m excited!!

If you can help me make the E4OD in my 1991 Bronco with a 351w fully manual so i can go carburated i have the Money ready!!!$$$$ ive been searching for something like this for so long! Im done with solenoids and computers!

Several companies that might be able to build a high stall E4OD/4R100 torque converter: Roadrunner Converters (Phoenix, AZ) Pro Torque (Yeadon, PA) RevMax (Charlotte, NC)

This sounds like the perfect trans for my 400hp 85 F150 with a AOD trans.

I am making one protype, from scratch. I will be testing it in my transmission dyno, then if all is good, a F250 truck. Once I have this all tested and everything is tweaked, and I have a 100% working Protype, I then will test it in something fast.

All of this voodoo, he’ll still be able to give an excellent description of JMJs taillights to a sketch artist 😂 🥔

There are multiple transbrakes out there for the e4od/4r100 Some of them have been prototyped and only a small circle knows Some of them have been published/marketed even in magazine articles this year already Best of luck on your design, it will join the others already out there
