Not completely accurate. Some people DO have limited capacity from pinched nerves, and tight muscles that limit the amount their lungs can expand. By exercising and stretching those areas the CAN increase that range. Technically, they are not making the organ of their lungs bigger, but can affect the degree to which their lungs are able to inflate, which is, by definitiion, increasing lung capacity.

I must say ~ I JUST happened upon your video, specifically this one & felt an IMMEDIATE difference after following along with you. I used a metal straw & throughly enjoyed that breathing process. I consider myself physically active, walk daily everywhere, notbwilly n I lay breath king but seems I was mindful if pacing my breath I bg with walking twmpo. At any rate when I sat up, resumed sitting in the sofa, I coukd swear it was better than meditating. I actually think I could even see clearer. Some may laugh, we all know our own bodies & what we experience. My actual breathing felt ? easy or I don't know ok w hw to explain, it was sl I were, nooo effort & I also swear that my brain was perking along quite nicely. Oxygen I suppose...Thank you for sharing, the body appreciates it. 😊 Interesting breathing thru a straw. Truly felt like I was in control w/the pacing. Am I being mental or is the feeling real that my entire chest area is performing better, like its expanded. Would love to hear others' experiences.
