Character Profile Name : Dorita Plasticia Race : Plastic Tsukumogami Ability : Ability to make her self not rot, broken, decay, and decompose(Immortality and quite possibly invincibility), Ability to manipulate her body form from fluid to solid (unable to turn into a gas) Age : At least 5 Backstory : Dorita was a well made homemade figurine that are made out of Dorito plastic and a simple glue gun. She worth over a 100 dollar based on how well made she is. But the owner doesn't want to sell it and keep her in his workbench until he died by heart attack. And left her without owner, she then got transported to Gensokyo and got picked up by Rinnosuke for a while. But it got stolen by Marisa not even a day after, and Marisa lost her not even a day too. She got lost on the Forest of Magic and gain mysterious power from there. The reason she become Tsukumogami is unknown, even she herself doesn't know. Design : She has a modern looking black shirt with "100% Muscle Increase" on the back and a small portion of wavy line of black and pink pattern printed on the front. She has Red eyes, straight yellow hair with a little bit of green shade and a noticeably big triangular glass earings colored in red. She also wear a red skirt, a black thigh highs, and red heels. She has 5 triangular energy flying around her body from her head to feet. If it's seen from the front it will forming a shape like hexagon, consistently doing a full round around her. Shinmyoumaru deserves the world. She’s one of the most lionhearted characters in all of Touhou. The only reason she’s the game’s antagonist is because she got manipulated and lied to, and she really deserved better than what she got. She’s one of my favorite characters because of this.

Now this. This is in my opinion one of ZUN's greatest pieces. I think this piece is the best final boss theme in the series, it's just so overbearing and powerful, it invokes a brilliantly huge presence for arguably the series' smallest character and it works so, so well. It feels intimidating like SA's final boss theme but in a different way, and like Emotional Skyscraper it tells its own story, of a youkai who was down-trodden by those that towered over it. I love the way ZUN incorporates running notes on the piano into Sukuna's theme. Though ZUN usually incorporates running notes into many characters' themes for a sense of urgency and haste, the running notes in Sukuna's theme seem to be a flair of elegance, rather than that of urgency.

This song is so beautiful it never fails to make me tear up. It starts with an ominous, dark tone then ascends to a nostalgic melody and into a serene tone. These parts seem sad; almost desperate. Then the build up starts again and this time the nostalgic melody seems brighter and more hopeful and continues to increase until this epic, intense explosion. It seems to fit perfectly with the story of the game as well. A weak, oppressed being trying to break out of their fate. This is, to me, the best final boss song in all of Touhou. Great job, DDC.

Probably the most heroic theme i've ever heard in the entire series. This theme makes me feel like I'M the villain fighting the hero, even the theme sounds like it wants Sukuna to win. This is the theme of someone that is brave enough to take on the world.

Scratch my last comment: This might just be the best thing since Emotional Skyscraper ~ Cosmic Mind. It's the theme of someone who is sick and tired of being constantly trampled on and ignored, and is now going to use her Miracle Hammer to trample on EVERYONE. Plus, she's flat-out ADORABLE, I'd adopt her if I could :D

It sounds more like "desperate heroism" to me, the fact having been fed a false story of her race being shamed, it feels like she is fighting for the rights of all the weak youkai or youkai being push to the sidelines for their "puny sizes". And thus sparking some kind of revolution that got out of hand to actually treat the more well known or powerful youkai as dirt like they were treated, instead of fighting for equality :3 this could well be more emotional than Cosmic Mind by far

I guess I'm just different, because the last 5 times I watched that EWI version of Cosmic Mind, I cried. From the music, the animation or the shrillness of the flute, it doesn't matter lol

I'm mad because I've been listening to a playlist of the entire of Touhou Project with 910 tracks, and of any tracks they could've missed, they missed this one.

Cracotte06 I agree with you out of all the boss themes I've heard, Sukunas own is definitely my number one favorite. Remember getting so into her boss fight purely from the theme. Love her!

This theme is freaking awesome, especially with headphones! The crescendo from the low key guitar to the high-pitched trumpets+piano loop makes me think of the heroine flying up toward Sukuna, which is getting increasingly desperate because you want to stop her from finally achieving what she believes is justice for the weaks and puny. I can just picture her increasing the intensity of her danmakus while you get nearer and nearer, till the final loop when she unleash all that she has left....

"Humans.. how do you still follow your path with no regrets. We all share the same end, whether it be youkai or man. Then why is it that you keep exterminating us and bind us to your cruel practice!" "What are you talking about? You youkai keep causing problems, and sure I'm rough, but I only exterminate the violent youkai!" "LIES!! Seija told me of your ways! I refuse to let this injustice to continue! You...you... you youkais and humans! You humiliated my people and now you say you've come to end us?!? Fight me, I will restore the honor of my kind!"

Whatever you may think of those crowds, they did represent groups of little people standing up against the powers that be. A couple of Touhou games have been related to current events. Maybe ZUN was inspired by them.

I'll be honest here. Shinmyoumaru Sukuna was the first 2hu final boss I've actually defeated in a normal 1cc run thanks to some danmaku training I had on a free flash game which is Reactance 2. Yeah, my cousin has came up with this plan since she has watched me play the original Bullet Heaven game (a danmaku spin-off of the Epic Battle Fantasy series) on Newgrounds and then seen me getting through Ten Desires on easy difficulty until I've ran out of lives and used at least one continue in the Toyosatomimi no Miko battle. Thanks a lot ZUN and Matt Roszak for making my childhood awesome anyway.

***** Usually a Touhou game takes place on the same year it was released (release date +/- up to some months). Touhou 14 was released on 2013. And actually, Shinmyoumaru already appeared in Touhou 14.3 Impossible Spell Card, released in 2014, in the same size as TH14. So yeah, it was about one year.

Well, it’s official. This is the first Touhou final boss theme that I’ve heard in game. Sure it was on easy and I died at the last phase of the last spell card, but I finally heard THIS in game. That was amazing.

Sukuna enlarging the hitboxes made Letty happier

Which one is Scariest? A Tiny Midget with Miracle Mallet and uses Needle as Sword or A cockroach wing boi.

This is my favorite touhou theme. I just love the build up and then the epic end of the loop. Shinmyoumaru might me small in size, but her character sure is big.

Am I only who wants Shinmyoumaru as a next REAL playable in the series? I know this sounds crazy but...C'mon! From the times of Mystic Square all games (excluding PoDD and PoFW) were limited to 4 playable characters...and that was in PC-98 era. We really need new and fresh playable character and our Little Princess would be perfect - maybe she would make herself bigger if she would want (incrasing hitbox but also incrasing her power). She would fit to the most of the stories, be good rival and her nice personality could even grow more.

What else do we expect lol I mean, I became a hardcore weeb because of the Touhou music. I loved all the soundtracks because they sounded awesome when I played them in the game, and it eventually got me curious about the Touhou itself. Boy, am I grateful!

Using ZUN's music as a palette cleanser for mainstream western music is a great choice also everyone under 6 foot is basically an inchling

One of my favorite characters. She really has the best intentions out of all characters in the post 6 games. She even had symphony for Seija who is arguably one of the more intentionally evil villains in the series. But inspite of her kindness and mercy for ruthless yokai like Seija, she knows where to set her morals when evil reveals itself.

"The larger somebody is, the stronger." -Sukuna- -Shinmyoumaru, you are literally right under number 1, in the case of being the hardest final boss for me.- -Sukuna- Shinmyoumaru's first two nonspells are literally a spam of raining bullets, her first one stopping after a while, but her second one literally builds up, as some white bullets just blast out of her all of a sudden, and fly down on you. She combines both of the types of bullets I SUCK at, tiny bullets, and extremely large bullets, and she has a survival spellcard that literally increases your hitbox that makes me glad that I main Reimu. All of her knife spellcards are really no easier compared to her growing ones, and her final spellcard literally spams as many bullets towards you as possible. That's all I can really say about -Sukuna- Shinmyoumaru. Update 1/9/2019, 1:27 PM: For an update, she is officially the hardest final boss for me now.

I didn't even know this was on Funky Friday, from comments I've seen. On a side note,I discovered Touhou a while ago and I wish to play an official Touhou game, they look hard as hell but also fun as hell. And no, I didn't discover Touhou through Funky Friday, I discovered it over a year ago.
