No question about it! I played for a few years when I was in my teens. Then came a lady , baby, you can guess the rest! Fast forward 25 years. Divorced, kids grown up. Said to myself, GDI I'm gonna learn the guitar once and for all! Ran into Marty's videos! Man WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS 12!! Every teacher, and I mean every teacher, just made it so incredibly boring! "I don't wanna play Mary had a Little Lamb" "I don't wanna play Green Fields" They refused to let you learn playing songs you liked! Marty I believe had the same problem! The whole idea is to enjoy the instrument! To have fun! This is what Marty understands completely! What a fantastic, patient musician he is! Anyway 5 years after I picked it back up, I can play a decent "Since I've Been Loving You" (yes the solo as well) Comfortably Numb (yes both solos) tons of Hendrix, Clapton, halfway through SRV's Little Wing, and countless other tunes, I could only dream about before I ran into Marty! I truly truly truly owe it all to Marty Schwartz!! P.S. And a special shout Brett "Papastache" Another fantastic motivator for the instrument!! Spent countless hours with Papastache fo sho!! Thanks Boys!!

That little segment was a Breas song ""I'll Give You Anything I Own". I fell into the melody just as you did. Cool :) Thanks!

"Bread" song
Nice Mr Schwartz! This is one of the tunes that seems to have an unusually long extended chorus. Like an a1 chorus and a2 (not even what you could really call a pre chorus). Its a sweet tune.
I’ve been playing for 18 months. How do I put this...I love you Marty. Really great what you’re doing here. I love learning from you. Very helpful. Thanks. Nick F.
The Schwartz! You are a Jedi Master. Thanks.
I just did a general search for this song because I couldn’t find it on the Marty’s Music channel , but I guess I just found it’s channels older brother teaching instead, still great
Marty, love your lessons. I've been playing for over 20 years ans still learn from you. A lot of these "beginner" songs can be personalized with added runs, pull-off, hammer-on, harmonics, etc. Great job, Marty. P.S New acoustic? NICE!

Nice
Great lesson! Could you please do a lesson for great big old house by robert cray? i love the song, but cant get the chords down. Thx marty!
Also REM perfected that combo....and nailed it too.
I've seen several guys teaching this and you are the only one who has it right or at least mostly right. I've seen people throwing Bm's in the song and it sounds awful. I just don't understand how a person can't hear that it doesn't match. Lol
