I can’t even tell you how often I come back to listen to this!

I'm in my 70's now and warmly reminisce about my younger days when I hear these songs. I often share F & F's songs, talents and harmonies. Thanks for the memories!

I've been a sound engineer for over 40 years. That was one of the best mixes I have ever heard. Each individual trac was clear and distinct. I've heard and watched songs mixed in million dollar + studio's that didn't blend together that smoothly.

Foxes and Fossils always show great respect for prior artist's work.

"I think that was a winner" Perhaps the F & F understatement of 2022. Absolutely amazing.

The groups ability to pull out and joyfully sing the essence of each song they cover pays such respect to the music. Every song F&F covers is a celebration of the original song and artist.

As many times as I have watched this, I can't believe I never commented on how INCREDIBLE you ALL were in this one!!

My gosh, after listening to this, I just graduated from high school; but I just remembered that was 47 years ago.😢

So peaceful. I'm so grateful that I'm hearing these precious people share their talents with us. Foxes and Fossils are a treasure that cannot be duplicated.

The guy singing lead was on point and the harmonies were sublime. Great job.

Darwin, you have out done yourself on this one. Southern Cross is officially one of the absolute best Foxes and Fossils have performed. I never got this emotion from CSNY, but you all again made it yours. I hope you know how much you all impact your listeners. You are our family!

Old school perfection that is lost today.

Those "Arouuuunnddd the world" phrases and how he lifts at the phrase end! What breath control. Super technique.

I'm going to go work today, play golf this afternoon, come home this evening, mix a drink ,put on my headphones and feel the comfort of Foxes and Fossils singing a song that I have listened to a thousand times. This is a good day.

I'm tired of trying to tell the world how great this little band is. Every song, every note in tune. It's criminal!!

No auto tune. Irrelevant with this talented bunch.

The immense beauty of this song surpasses almost all others: the lyrics soar, and each verse is fresh. The sea/life allegory is truth, and the melody and phrasing just wrings emotion from my soul. What a priviledge to be able to master such a treasure.

I wish I could push the thumbs up more than once…given how many times I’ve come back to watch this beautiful cover.

Man that fossil can really sing!!! Love this group so much.......

Really good. This is one of my all-time favorite songs and while I don't think anyone can sing it quite like Stills, I really like this rendition. Nicely done.

Everything CS&N did was a collaborative effort. Its was never the same if one of them was missing. Theres no taking away from Stills musical brilliance but he needed Crosby.

@@janicemartin2016 The studio recording of Southern Cross was sung by Stills, Nash, Garfunkel, Schmidt (bass and backing vocals) and Finnegan (keyboards and backing vocals) as Crosby (drug and legal problems) rejoined the group later in the production of that album .

Excellent. A "winner" indeed. A song about a man losing his wife, losing his sailboat and gaining the beauty and forgiveness of the Lord that we all need to gain. Beautiful song.

So magnificent - these musicians truly understand the powerful emotional core of this song. Their perfect harmony makes anyone's heart sing again.

We need KZread to give us a “million likes” button to push. I would push it every time. Great job.

It needs to go back to the 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating system. Some things are only worth 2 or 3. Giving 5 meant it was great!

This song, "Early Morning Rain," and "Peace Train" are are some of my very favorite F&F performances. I come back to them time and time again. I'm so grateful to Darwin for sharing his beautiful guitar skills and brilliant vocals.

This is best version I have ever heard 👏👏👏

Darwin, the sleeper voice in the group. He killed it with the last two releases. Look forward to more lead from him in the future.

I always enjoy Darwin's lead vocals. What really makes this performance smokin hot is when everyone else kicks in with the awesome harmonies. The instrumentals put the whole experience over the top! I never cease to be amazed by the talents of every F & F member and how perfectly you all combine!

I always have loved Darwin's unique voice, very folksy like Gordon lightfoot. Your band is something of a miracle, to bring together so many completely different sounds and styles of vocals, and still come up with such unity. A lot of people appreciate what you are doing, especially after listening to modern r and b or pop.

Absolutely love this cover! Dar nails the lead vocal and the vocal harmonies are beautiful. The instrumentals just make me smile they are so good. I love this cover! This is the CSN song that turned me on to F&F's. In early 2018 I was listening to the CSN version and F&F's Suite Judy Blues Eyes showed up in my recommended list. Not particulary fond of covers, I decided to give it a listen and was immediately blown away with the harmonies and Darwin's and Scott's guitar playing. Needless to say I ended up going down a rabbit hole, went to Tim's channel, listened to the rest of the songs that he had posted and subscribed to the channel. Later I went to the website to order the 2 CD's and the DVD. At the time the DVD was out-of-stock so I waited until it was available again and placed my order. I received my confirmation and a note on the website said Tim was on a cruise and the order would be fulfilled when Tim returned.. Listening to the CD's and watching the DVD I was not disappointed, except for the fact they were not performing anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when Chase, Sammie and Maggie put out the "What Song Will They Cover Next" video in April 2019. Now if they just overcome all the obstacles and do a live performance.

See I felt the opposite. I knew they would nail it. I knew Darwin would cover Stephen Stills, and Tim and the girls could be Crosby, and Nash. This, and Carry On are my favorites by CSN. I knew this would be perfection.
