I think the reason Tammy was depressed is because she knew there was a change in Chad and probably suspected especially since Charles indicated he sent her msgs about it. Maybe she put it in the hands of Jesus, and Jesus decided her immediate family didnt deserve her 🤷‍♀️ In one of her text exchanges with Chad, he said he was going somewhere and she said, "good for you." To me that sounded like she knew. I Wish Tammy had of told everyone, and that she had of confronted Chad full force. Maybe that would've stopped/changed the outcome. I think if she had of confronted Chad and left him, the outcome would've been the same tho 💔

Chad was not a loyal husband well before Lori came onto the scene. Tammy persevered and took care of her family. Chad was already done with her long ago, imo. And, claimed he had info from a dead relative that she would die early. What a bunch of baloney! Imo, Chad planned to take her out eventually and raised her life insurance so he could benefit! And, his kids are so brainwashed (or worse - complicit) that they are right there to support him no matter how much evidence stacks against him.

I was the same & also Lori's sister's call with her during Lori's trial. So much pain in both Colby and the sister's voices. I don't like people being in undeserved pain, even if I don't know the people. I find Colby inspiring, I'm unsure if I could go on after everything that's been taken from him by his mother, Chad and seemingly his uncle Alex. Lori didn't deserve any of those children, I wish they had been born/adopted by a good mother. If I see Kay or Larry cry, I'm also sad.

They went to his seminars, read his “books” and found him charming as much as it gags the majority of us. So , “or so” is an unknown variable, bottom line Chad was called out as a loser by Lori’s Atty. Turns out, there are many people easily lured into some fantastical illogical belief systems. We will never know. Both trials only skim the top surface layer of Chad and Lori enough to get convictions. Everybody knows when the light comes on, cockroaches run for cover to hide. When the kids were found, people scrambled to cover their azzes.

It's odd for me that while I absolutely think Chad is equally at fault for the murders, I am more viscerally angry at Lori and Alex as they killed their own family kids. How does a mother allow that? Or an uncle do so? It is horrific. But, yes. Chad is just as guilty. I'm just more angry at Lori.

From what different people close to them has said, Alex was always extremely loyal to Lori. To the point that some saw it as an inappropriate relationship. I believe Alex started realizing how evil his actions were and that Lori played him to do her dirty work and the guilt killed him. While I believe Chad is just as guilty as Lori, I will always believe Lori was the puppet master. I think she read Chad's books and purposely sought him out. I believe Lori didn't believe in the wacko religion they made up, and Chad gave her people's light and dark scores just to satisfy her. Chad is a dorky, blob with no personality and became obsessed with a pretty blonde. He was willing to go along with anything to have her all to himself.

Hi Nate, greetings from Germany. I really appreciate your nightly recaps. I watched the trial, but my ADHD brain tunes in and out so your recaps are great to go over the important stuff that I missed. I also really like your coverage. It is informative and gives context and even though the subject matter is very sad, you package it in a way that is manageable. And the fact that you bring on family and make the recaps a little bit personal is the perfect blend. Your wife’s incites were great. She seems to have a solid head on her shoulders and a lovely personality. I hope your Internet in the Caribbean sucks that you are forced to take a break and enjoy yourselves 😉 you guys are too generous with your time sharing it with us even when you are on vacation. Have a wonderful anniversary and celebration at the wedding. Looking forward to when you are back

Happy Anniversary Nate and Erica !!! I have two sons. I cannot imagine my sons having to testify in a murder case … let alone a case where I or my new husband is the accused. My heart aches for this young man. Is prior being paid by witnesses cross-examined? Honestly, it is becoming tedious !!! And truly, Prior’s constant implied threats that he’s going to call a witness back on behalf of the defense is becoming tiresome. Although there are parts of Warwick’s testimony that are quite believable, but it was clear Warwick was being evasive in his responses. What is he protecting? I don’t think he’s complacent in this crime, but I DO believe he is guarding his responses. He is more into this Preparer society than he wants to admit. Interesting that the prosecutor didn’t bring up the “horrible nightmare” incident. Sorry to my LDS acquaintances and friends … Warwick is giving you all a bad image in my mind. Prior is not just trying to make Gibb seem impeachable as a witness, he’s trying to point the finger at her. I think Tammy knew Daybell was cheating and that’s why she was on medicine for depression. But Erica, Tammy was gaslighted by Chad !!! Erica ! Are you my sister? daughter? Granddaughter? Because we share the same believe system in this case . LOL !!!
