Most people married to narcissist developed clinical depression in childhood. That’s cause our narcissist parent causes that malfunction in our brains and we naturally marry those who subconsciously remind us of mom or dad… hence domestic ab*se and why the victims don’t leave.

Tammy was sadly a victim of an abusive, and controlling POS husband, and 5 ungrateful kids that probably all believe she had a demon in her, and her body needed to die. My heart breaks for Tammy. I can’t imagine the ridicule and the emotional abuse she had to live with from a man that obviously did not love her, and her kids did nothing to protect her from him. They could have stepped up, they are all adults now. All this evidence, all this proof Chad despised Tammy… if anyone of those kids get up on that stand and testify to protect their father, there’s no way I could ever believe anything except they support what him and Lori did to Tammy 100%. There’s way too much evidence way too many facts that point the finger directly at Chad for murdering that young beautiful, vivacious woman that called him her husband.

Did other people say that he said this at the funeral? Just curious. I assume if other people said he didn’t call her lazy that prior would bring them in to testify.

Im confused about Chad saying she's lazy. Tammy worked raised a family and kept in health by taking classes. Spending time with her adult children. Running in a 5K to raise money for her son in law. She was always during stuff for the school she worked at. Chad is no winner!! He should feel blessed Tammy was in his life. Listening to how the family spoke about Tammy at her funeral takes me right back to how my mother was treated. I remember her jumping up when my Dad got home. Chad quit digging graves to self publish mormon post-apocalyptic fiction. And failed at that too until he used and exploited another woman's book and story to marginal success for a few years, but that was going bankrupt, too. Tammy raised five children, had earned a college degree, worked full time and was likely the stable earner and insurer their entire marriage. And at 49 attended both advanced fitness and clogging classes and was training for a 5K. Yep, lazy, lazy. What a trial that must have been for Slug. 🙄

What strikes me, is I was genuinely convinced Tammy was in ailing health. I assumed she was, and Chad was simply using this as an excuse for her murder. I’d Heard- time and time again how all the family and close people in their lives “knew Tammy’s health was failing” and that she was very weak and sick all the time. It’s shocking how he pulled that out of his ass and tried to convince e everyone of it. He’s a major manipulator. Now, hearing all the people close in their lives either say “we had no idea, she was so healthy!” Or “she was always so healthy *but Chad told us* she was getting sicker/sicker”. It’s wild. That proves this shit was premeditated long before the crime occurred.

Sometimes it's hard to predict what individual jurors are thinking, though. Priors condescending attitude has probably irritated them like it has us so far, so they may disregard any of his attempts at a "gotchya" moment. Some may remember the officers testimony of Chad laying upstairs when he visited. Some may remember Chad telling Emma to "get the mattress from upstairs". Some may think that witness was lying. Thank you, Nate, for bringing us Dr. Bowman! And thank you to you Dr. Bowman for taking the time!🙏 I really believe the more we know and understand, even if it isn’t our own religion, makes us a better and more informed group of humans who can learn to coexist in peace. The Morman faith has taken quite a beating lately with these charges and trials. I believe it is important to understand that what members of the fringe groups have done is not representative of the Morman faith as a whole. And we must always remember it could be our religion next so it is wise to not judge an entire faith based on these extreme outliers. Again, thank you Nate! 🙏

I don't want Prior to get kicked off the case, maybe that's what he is trying to do, but someone on the Prosecution tream should point out that lying is no way to discredit a witness and show the jury a picture of the "upstairs loft" in that house, as condescendingly as he has been being to everyone else. 💥 That witness deserves credibility, not Prior, I tell ya...

He’s not going anywhere. At worst he gets sanctioned. He def doesn’t want a mistrial because then he has to do this all over again and he’s no longer getting paid! Boyce won’t let him off the case. He’s a snake and he’s hoping that the prosecution doesn’t know better and that jurors didn’t catch these details in the evidence. If the prosecution is smart they will play this card at the very end in closing arguments and pull the rug out from under Prior. They can quote him, then simply play the two pieces of evidence that prove it’s a 2 story home in certain spots. And then drop the mic 😂

@@martijordak806 Yes a simple objection about leading the witness and facts not in evidence would have at least allowed this preserved the issue on the record. I'm thinking, though, that the prosecution has always planned to have an expert or LEO describe the house and emphasize the presence of the stairway and perhaps they are just giving credit to the competence of the jury to recall that what Pryor said early about the one story house and make them feel more positively toward that witness.

Notice, Daybell isn’t negating her testimony with negative head shakes or other body language indications that he disagrees with her statements. I think Prior is grasping at straws. THANK YOU SO MUCH for having the Doctor on this evening to explain what we’re hearing in this trial! I grew up in a cult myself and found studying different religious beliefs and traditions helped me tremendously to deprogram. I have many LDS friends who are always inviting me to various events or just Sunday church services. I can say I’ve been tempted because every single LDS person I’ve met has been a wonderful person. However, there’s a little too much similarity to what I escaped. For example, the way you can be excommunicated (called disfellowshipped in my ex religion), and it’s infuriating when the leadership say it’s only a spiritual disconnection… it absolutely is not! Once you leave the religion, you’re shunned/treated as if you’re dead, by your friends and family. And should your family speak to you while you’re disfellowshipped, they too will be disciplined and shunned. It’s a terrible fear tactic because they believe that if the end of the world comes while you’re outside of the group, you’ll lose any chance at salvation. But anyway, I found his knowledge fascinating! Thank you again for having him on! And thank you for your excellent coverage!!! ❤
