LDS CHURCH really SCREWED UP when they did not listen to her when she warned them against Chad's belief! She reminds me of when Charles was telling everyone about Lori. Imagine that...someone tried to ALERT about Lori and someone tried to ALERT about Chad! And NO ONE listened. ?

@@annettelacey7913How about that? With the Charles, the state basically ignored his ultimate cries for help, he was ignored by the state (police), the state failed him. With Heather, the church failed. She tried raising alarms within the church and Chad's family of the same church. Her warnings were ignored, despite pointing glaringly to how off "scripture" his nonsense was. The church dismissed her. The two most governing entities, state and church both failed the people they are tasked to protect and both failed miserably.

And, I'm glad she had enough gumption .... sense of self .... in a time there's SUCH good content on the Internet and elsewhere ... she navigated to a higher place and was able to influence others after, herself, getting a new view of the whole culture she was steeping in. I think her coming out to do the limited- content interviews she did in recent years helped many people.

Watch what he does with his hands when he has them clasped together. He Hudson's to index fingers together then the next finger and so on until he has them looped together then opens it turns them and says look at the steeple!" He's so scared he can't even move! As he very well should be he knows what's going to happen! His only worry at this point is if he's going to get the death penalty and I'm sure he knows he is!

My understanding of a “pot stirrer” meaning, is a trouble maker. Heather’s father in-law called her a troublemaker because she objected to Chad’s end of days teachings, basically trying to start his own religion, and giving a calling to her son when he didn’t have any authority to do so within their religion’s bureaucracy. And she was called the “pot stirrer” not Chad. The problem is that Chad’s immediate family members enable his behavior.

The absence of evidence is not the proof of innocence and the fact that he was so hastily cremated is problematic in itself, since it assured that no second autopsy is possible. The first determination about Tammy's death was that her death was natural too, but the second autopsy proved that wrong, so Alex Cox's official cause of death may be declared as natural, but considering all the circumstances, that cause of death certificate is highly probably as incorrect as Tammy's first one. @@JoeLene_You remind me to be grateful my mom took us to a church that was open to all ppl. I'm 67 and grew up in the south where segregation was still a thing even tho federal laws banned this. Many churches actually voted not to integrate and based it on their interpretation of scripture. The church also grew with the times accepting gay members and ordained women as pastors. Of us 5 kids...2 are church members, 1 is agnostic and 2 of us don't belong to a church. My own faith grew as the result of seeking help for my alcoholism thru a faith based 12 step program. My upbringing allowed me to easily adapt to choosing my own concept of a Higher Power...important in sobriety. Some Ppl I've met on my journey struggle with this concept bc they feel some guilt "abandoning" a religion they're raised with. I heard someone share in a mtg that they are a recovering alcoholic who is also a recovering southern Baptist 😅. My dad was never a church goer but was always ok with mom taking us bc he believed for us that exposure to church would allow us later to make our personal choices re church attendance and could base part of this on having that experience. My favorite sermon ever I heard at age 12 where the topic was doubt. Our pastor shared that doubt was a good tool for growing faith bc it invited us to study many faiths and explore religions. Enjoyed your post. Being the great grandchild of the founder and leader of Mormonism probably increased your guilt and angst in choosing to leave the church. There is such an emphasis on loyalty and much guilt associated with daring to leave the church bc it dooms you to Hell is the punishment for that. Likely speaking out was very hard for you with such an added burden. Glad u found the strength to leave and carry on. Hope u didn't lose many family or friend connections for your choices.

I didn't think any hint of Chad's ongoing affair with Julie Rowe would seep into the courtroom but Heather managed to say just enough! GG Heather! I know none of us would want the redemption of knowing we were right, especially with the price paid in lives taken but... I am sorry you were discounted by peers and your husband's family. His constant remarks about female bodies, weight, looks, sexuality and behaviour are deeply insulting and denigrating to women. His misogyny has also been discussed in multiple news and TC interviews. There is no need for insults and foul language.

@@Tammy_26Irwin But Prior did establish that Munoz' testimony was flawed because in the context in which she used the word, "down" to indicate what Chad had told her, she affirmed it meant, "downstairs," and we know that it is most likely not true since Chad described Tammy as "coughing and vomiting" and there's no where to vomit upstairs. Prior weakened Munoz' testimony by pointing out that the house - and now we know he was referring to the main house WHERE TAMMY AND CHAD'S BEDROOM WAS - was one level. IF Munoz was accurate in her testimony that Chad said Tammy came "DOWN," he could have meant that as "down the hall," which she may have misinterpreted as "down the stairs." However, since Munoz affirmed under cross examination that Chad said, "downstairs," it is understood that would be false since Tammy would not be vomiting upstairs in the loft. Moreover, for you to say, "Prior is a liar," based on his assertion that the Daybell home is a single level residence, is just absurd. It is most likely Prior either forgot about the add-on portion upstairs or didn't consider it part of the main house WHERE TAMMY AND CHAD'S BEDROOM WAS because it didn't have utilities and was used mostly as an extra space for the storage of musical instruments. But that assertion doesn't mean he lied. GROW UP! You sound like a child almost saying, "Liar, liar, pants on fire."

I saw Heather in another podcast and his parents have always treated her like crap. They still treat her that way. She only wanted to keep her husband’s wackjob brother away from her family. I feel so bad for her but she did amazing.

I just had the time to watch this entire video today and WOW - I am really impressed with Heather! It is very obvious why Chad always saw her as a problem; there was no way he could impress, let alone brainwash this woman, like he did with poor Tammy. Heather Daybell uses her head, she is intelligent and fearless, and she is not afraid to speak up. She is not subservient either, she protects her children from bad influences and she is stirring all the pots that need to be stirred. Chad knew that he could never make Heather believe all that garbage about his visions and superpowers, and that she will never show any respect for him. And seeing how different Heather is from Tammy and how he always chose completely different type of women to try and seduce (including Lori) I think it was not only his brother's land that Chad coveted... P.S. Pryor objecting that one state's question is "leading" while half of his own court antics are literally openly leading, snide commenting, insulting the victims, sl*t shaming Lori and generally being a grandstanding jacka$$ diva is absolutely disgusting. But I guess that, seeing and hearing all the evidence, there is not much except vile theatrics that he can do.
