Chad and Lori could have divorced their spouses, get jobs and live happily together. They didn’t because they wanted money and control. So vile.

Yes, they never wanted to make a decent living on their own. They both were dependent upon their spouse incomes while they were alive, and on insurance and state money when they were gone. And now, they'll be in prisons and live off of hardworking peoples taxes 🙄

Samantha, if you read this, I want you to know your testimony brought tears to my eyes today and you did your sister proud. You gave her a voice. I have no doubt she is so grateful and honored and proud of your testimony today. I am so sorry for your loss. I only have one sister who lives 600 miles from me and I am ashamed to say we don’t keep in continual touch. But your testimony today inspired me to make a greater effort to be in more constant touch with my sister instead of once or twice a month. I pray for you and your family and I pray that justice will be served upon this disgusting man who robbed you all of your loving sister Tammy.

But you would not believe HOW MANY people CANNOT grasp the concept. They do exactly what you described... speaking over the person telling them not to! Makes the court reporters job so much more difficult.

He's already done enough damage thinking he's a Warren Jeffs wannabe with multiple wives (including little girls (Brandon's little girls who were the only kids of his not labelled 'dark')). This needs to stop and no more from any of them in his family or friends.

Even if he gets dp he will have 25 to 30 years before he ever faces execution. Chances are at his age, by the time the date ever comes, he will never be executed. He will die of natural causes or have his sentence commuted to life without parole because he will be elderly and ill or just because that is what typically happens. Going for the Dp in this case is just a waste of money. I’m sure they were hoping for a plea deal.

Even if he suggested Chad take a plea, he can't force him to do it. Prior has asked the judge to be released as Chad's Attorney and this was denied. So under the canon of ethics he has to do his best to get him off. Why he asked these ridiculous questions s about trees and shadows and the number of pets in the cemetery I don't know, but wow he left the door wide open for Samantha to deliver that heartbreaking "Two dead children!" final comment. At least he didn't bring up Melanie Gibb AGAIN.

@@CH-vm6cq I thought Chad signed over the house to Prior. One of the witnesses, the Real Estate Agent, when Prior asked him how big Chad’s property was , said, “you own it, you ought to know!” Prior stopped for a side bar after that. That’s being paid well, to me. Not saying he doesn’t deserve it, he is a death penalty lawyer, so earns more money. But it is being paid.

In fact, He did teach to beware of false prophets and of people claiming to be Him or come in His name. I encourage you to put down your Book of Mormon and pick up a Bible. It sounds like they didn't know. As far as I've heard, the ones who have testified have said it seemed to them like Chad and Tammy had a loving, normal relationship. As many other viewers have commented during this trial, Chad seems to have many characteristics of narcissism. If this is true, well, narcissists are very good at turning on the charm for others while manipulating those closest to them in private, and gaslighting them in ways that make them unlikely to truly recognize or tell people about the psychological and emotional abuse they are enduring.

I'd imagine "Tammy's depression ". was what is called clinically "situational depression.'. The reason I suspect this is because in listening to Chads negative digs on Tammy , the insinuation that he was bored with their relationship Tammy as " vanilla routine " in everything. I suspect that was in response to his gaslighting , harassing and putting her down. The family and all witnesses describe Tammy as healthy , cheerful smart etc. what with running her home, working, running and dancing. The impression is that her "vanilla " is in reaction to her husband and possibly her being put down and gaslit with the apparently talented manipulator control freak who didn't want her to have a life away from what he softly demanded. Also many witnesses from the family and Mormon church; to minimize the importance of women community seems to center completely around motherhood and homemaking only. Repeatedly we hear about steward of the family as the man and the important decisions are seemingly dominated by the men. Where as the gentle women and good mothers comply it seems . I don't hear discussions that are cohesively made. Rip Tammy. Karen Morente
