Sorry, but her children were classified as 'dark', and she no doubt colluded in the attempted murder of her then husband. Can't take her sweet act seriously.

Neither she nor Ian are credible. Nate suggested Melanie’s opinion of Lori and Chad has changed. I don’t get that impression at all. I think she and Ian are posturing, trying to put themselves in a better light before Lori’s trial. Melani is scared sh*tless she will be charged in Brandon’s attempted murder. And she should be charged. I hope they gather enough evidence to charge and convict her.

These secretly recorded conversations do prove that Melani Pawlowski actually planned for two of her own children from Brandon to be murdered next, as well as Brandon himself. Ian Pawlowski may be staying with her to protect their child. I don't understand why so many people think that both Melanies as well as Zulema have some sort of immunity. The law can order and/or compel individuals to testify when it comes to murder trials, especially with child victims, and for any of these women refusing to testify would increase the likelihood of being investigated themselves. I am inclined to think that after the two main criminals in this case are tried and convicted, we will see more charges against others involved, like both Melanies etc.

I've heard people say there was a $1million policy on Brandon that Melani had taken out. But I do not know that is true. What I DO know is true is about the money from the sale of the marital home. If Brandon had died on the day that Alex shot at him, on THAT one day...Melani would have got the ENTIRE value of the sale of their marital home. Not just half. As is usually the case with divorces, everything was done, except the division of the assets from the sale of the home. The Decree Nisi is done, but the Decree Absolute (or Judgement Absolute..or whichever term any given state uses) isn't signed by the Judge until the money from the house sale is cleared and divided between the ex spouses. The house sale JUST concluded. Brandon moved out over the course of basically one day - he said it was super quick, which is why no one apart from Melani had been informed, he was too busy rushing to move out, so the sale could go through. The buyers took possession. The money exchanged hands...but the Judge had not yet signed the Decree Absolute. Had Brandon died THAT DAY, Melani would have pocketed ALL the house sale money. That is why the timing of the attempted murder would SO important to Melani, Melanie (who appeared shortly after the shooting, knocking on neighbors' doors, neighbors' of Brandon's new home, which only Melani knew the address of, asking the neighbors if they knew "what had happened". She'd been sent over to find out if Brandon HAD been successfully murdered.), Lori, Chad, Alex et al, that Brandon be murder RIGHT THEN. They wanted ALL the money. They wanted him dead before his attorney popped the Divorce paper over to the Judge to sign. It was so clearly timed with a purpose. A greedy purpose. The usual Chad and Lori purpose.

Wow…something stinks with Ian too or he’s just an absolute fool. Thank god he went to the police, BUT, that letter he wrote was eye-opening. That he didn’t bolt from the melani scene immediately after playing spy is telling. According to the letter, he didn’t think anything melani said was very damning? Ok, maybe he didn’t know Alex was dead and didnt understand why she was comforted that her kids “would soon be with Alex”-but she revealed a lot to him so…what then? he couldn’t read between the lines? He should have run far from her-he has children for God’s sake and now having babies with her. No she does not get a pass for having been indoctrinated into a cult. I cannot believe Melanie P was not arrested in this case! The horrible things she said (and was a part of doing imo) to the father of her children is disgusting. I also cannot believe that Ian and Melanie stayed together! He was recording her behind her back (thank goodness), she was saying all of this horrific stuff about her very recent ex-husband that seemed to be a great guy and father. So Ian met and married Melanie within days…for which he’s thrown into this. He very obviously did not know who he married! He recorded her! And he should have ..but what these evil people did to people that have done MUCH less to them, didn’t give Ian pause?! Or run for the hills? And she wasn’t upset when she found out what her new husband did to her and “mom and dad” 🤮 Ian wanted a wife that had kids, helping him to feel comfortable with that person being a good mother figure. BUT she didn’t even have custody because children were disappearing around her and her “mom and dad”- could Melanie calling Chad “Dad” be anymore creepy? I truly cannot believe they not only stayed together but had more children?!?! THIS is why you don’t marry someone days after meeting them!

This statement by her suggested to me she knew about two of her children being dark and potentially deceased. It also gives me pause as it relates to sharing EVERYTHING she knows. Braxton and Brees (aka Braxy and Breezy). And yes, I initially took it that way as well... I was like "Mel, your kids are not dead!" But then I realized she might have meant that Alex was going to be watching over them as "an angel". But yes, she definitely knew that Chad and Lori believed two of her children to be dark, however, it was not the two named here. The two that were "dark" were Brighton and Blake according to text messages. I think that's why she tried to kidnap them twice from Brandon's parent's home and was arrested for it. She was either planning on following the plan for the dark ones, or "save" the light ones from the dark ones. So basically, all she cared about was Alex watching over her "light" children. I really don't understand why Ian married her.

@@cruzinbosco Thanks for clarifying the names, it sent chills down arms when I heard it. Given their beliefs tho it doesn't seem likely he could watch over them from a different dimension or probation as I believe they called it. I was hopeful she would shed light on the unanswered questions and still believe she's not coming completely clean. Agree with you as it relates to Ian

When Melanie P. Was on the recording calling Chad daddy I about gagged, after asking Melanie about the trip with Lori and Melanie found out later that alex was supposed to be on that trip also but didn't go because Chad needed his help with something and then Lori got a call that tammy had died, thought the prosecutor could have made a few more questions on all ending up enforcing the point that Alex Chad and Lori were all very secretive around Tammy being killed

According to her testimony, Melani visited Lori at the Rexburg home the same weekend as Melani Gibb, David Warwick, Lori and Alex, with Chad coming and going. She sad she was there on the 19th and for the weekend, yet she couldn’t remember Meani, David, or JJ being there. I find this amazing and not believable.

Prior is being strategic when he refers to Tammy’s exhumation as ‘They Dug her up’. He is attempting to plant the seed that she was cruelly and unnecessarily removed from her grave. He wants the jury to think about how they would feel in the same situation. Especially if you were innocent, which of course is what he wants us to believe that Chad is. It is also evident in the condescending tone he takes.. he’s trying to plant the seed of doubt in the jury. By speaking in a tone of disbelief, he hopes the jury will question the credibility of those testifying.. and that those people are not believable. I know there’s a lot of strong emotions being exhibited in regard to Prior, most of which are probably from the reflection of their distaste for Chad.. so I’ll clarify, I’m not arguing that he’s being successful at this strategy 😆.. but his demeanor has much to do with his strategy and not likely accidental.

Cant help thinking that these people - especially the two Melanies and Lori - would have done so much better if they had proper jobs and were productive members of society instead of having so much time to commit to this nonsense. Poor Charles, Brandon and Tammy were the only decent people in this mess. Mel P seemed really infantile - despite being a mother of 4 at the time

Melanie seemed really sus based on this interview and her performance in court yesterday. Flat affect, fake quietness and politeness. She wanted her ex dead and I bet her kids would have been in danger too. She wanted her ex to live in fear for his life forever. Her childlike adoration of Lori and Chad is also v disturbing. What a weirdo!
