If Tylee backed up Alex’s story and the police found no evidence of them conspiring at the time I don’t know how they could have got the grand jury to indict Lori or Alex. It’s easy in hindsight and I wish they had found something and saved Tammy, Tylee and JJ

Exactly! Charles tried and even went as far as to try and have her 302'D! No one believed him! The only person in her entire family that believed Charles was Adam Cox and possibly his son... The problem is that cops rarely get into religious cult-like issues unless they're a danger to the welfare of others. Unfortunately, Charles, the children, and others were in trouble but there was no proof other than he said she said stuff. After they killed Charles and got away with it they thought no one could touch them! Sadly, we'll never know if Tylee knew something was up or not, but if she did she probably thought there was no one to turn to! If the police department would've taken all of this seriously from the beginning many lives would've been saved but unfortunately, there was no proof they'd murder all of these people! I'm just praying that they don't take the DP off the table with Chad Daybell!

@@VioletJoy it seems to be standard practice in Chandler PD not to ask probing questions. Cox details how Lori and Alex were planning to murder Joe Ryan....Moffat asks zero questions as if he'd been told they take their coffee black. The same as Ynclan did when interviewing Lori. Also, Moffat is talking to the brother of the Lori and Alex. Most importantly, this person was the last one in contact with the victim and he had vanished, never contacting police. How does Moffat know Cox is not an accomplish? He's never met him, never talked to him before. But he answers all his questions, some of them very sus: ie can you retrieve deleted texts, do you have CCTV footage from around the house? WTH???

@@StellaFl Thank you. They didn't have this interview yet when they interviewed Alex. I have to wonder if this is the Mormon club. They always seem to ask whoever they're talking to if they're lds, and Lori's got her parents lined up on her side even before the murder so they're obviously running interference and am I right that her Dad is very respected in the church? I saw the interview (partly) of Gibb and it was like a church potluck it was so friendly, and she was Lori's best friend. This is why we don't have a theocracy, but somehow Utah gets away with it.

How can you blame the police? They can’t just arrest people and hold them without evidence and go off hearsay. They have to have proof and are bound by the law. We have a criminal justice system, albeit flawed, they can’t arrest someone for what they assume. If that were the case, half of society would be incarcerated. By the time they finally had what they believed to be enough evidence to make a murder arrest, Alex was dead….then the kids were dead, and then everything fell in place after that.

When Charles spoke with the Arizona police, you could hear the concern and fear in his voice. He felt like he would be killed. I felt like the police did not feel much concern. Now Charles is dead. Thank God that Adam communicated with Charles who was being shunned by Lori and her family. Adam and his son were the only ones who supported Charles. The police didn't. Lori's family didn't. The guy was about to be murdered in the first degree, and must have felt like nobody cared except for Adam and his son. Adam I am so glad you were there for Charles. I am so sorry Lori bamboozled your family against you. To shun their own grandson (Adam's son) is so unconscionable.

I'm confused when people mention that police didn't seem concerned. I thought this officer sounded concerned. He listened to the whole story, gave Adam some info, said the investigation was ongoing, and wanted to stay connected. There's no way anyone could say that Adam was brushed off by this officer. Lori had not made any threats to anyone at that exact point, so there was no way of knowing that she would kill her children. I've been following the case, but not every detail, so maybe I missed something.

@@VioletJoy I was referring to when Charles talked to the police. Please re read my comment. Charles was already dead when they spoke with Adam. Then they took more notice and were concerned what Adam had to say. I didn't say they brushed off Adam. When Charles talked to the police in AZ, I felt like so many others, that he was brushed off. They listened, but obviously didn't take him too seriously. He was killed shortly after explaining his fear of what might happen. He also was correct about his fear, because he quickly changed his life insurance beneficiary to his sister Kay, when it had originally been Lori. So what police department in AZ do you work for or perhaps you have a relative who works for a police department in AZ? I did follow this case very closely from the beginning. Go back and listen to Charles telling his concerns to the AZ police! Your comment had overtones that were unnecessary, not to mention incorrect in relation to what I said!!

Yes, I'm familiar with the video of Charles speaking to police. I'm not sure what was or was not done in that instance, but have heard a lot of assumptions. I'm curious what LE did/didn't and why. I'm confused why you're asking about working for the police department as I didn't mention anything about that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@VioletJoy There is video after video on you tube showing how police are not doing their jobs! Unless beating up people, ignoring the pleas of citizens, and police violating their Constitutional Oath has become the new norm. Not to mention hanging their thin blue flag in departments that the taxpayers pay for. Many people, myself included, see that flag as a desecration to the American flag that many fought and died for. I do not care about what others say about the meaning of the thin blue flag, it is not the American flag! If I recall correctly, I had just seen yet another video where a cop was ignoring his Oath, and harming yet another innocent citizen! You know what Violet Joy? The camera doesn't lie. I see many videos in their full entirety so like I said, the camera doesn't lie. The fact is the AZ police did not do their jobs. The proof of that is Charles is dead! Then when they spoke with Alex after Charles was killed, they were almost apologetic for questioning him! I am telling you if it had not been for Kay, Larry, and Nate Eaton...Lori and Chad may still be on some kind of killing spree! I agree the police were especially kind and helpful AFTER Charles was killed. They would have really looked negligent if they had not been that way. Nate recently did another story that is very troubling. A man with three children had been poisoned, along with his Mother, Sister, and a few of this friends. The person who did this was his wife! He has since divorced and has temporary custody of his kids. He is fearful she may get partial custody. This is a legitimate fear considering his former wife only received a misdemeanor for attempted murder of more than one person! Perhaps if the police and Prosecuting Attorney did their jobs she wouldn't be free to walk around!

The cops may have believed Adam, and perhaps the cops gave all their info to the prosecutor and the prosecutor may have thought that he didn't have enough concrete evidence to present to the court. Everything has to be nailed down tight before one can indict, try and convict anyone for a crime. It can't be hearsay, supposition, or even gut feelings. Had Charles managed to record the situation, or perhaps done one of those "live Facebook" things, or if Lori and Alex had texted each other about their plan to murder Charles, or even if Lori's parents had come clean, there would have been sufficient proof to prosecute. Lori's parents had some proclivities in the cultish direction where Lori was headed as well, which is why they were so pissed with Adam when he punched a hole or two in their shared delusion. And Lori and Alex weren't alone in their plotting. I'm certain that several other family members and some of Lori's friends knew full well what Lori and Alex were up to and approved of it all. That deal with Lori's ex-husband, Joe, was interesting. Kind of shows a history of planned widowhood for fun and profit. Apparently Chad's cult was an answer to all of Lori's ambitions to be a freewheeling and wealthy woman through manipulating her way to merry and childless widowhood. I feel very bad for Charles, but I am seriously horrified about what Lori and Alex did to her children. With no responsibilities and lots of her own money, I wonder how long it would have taken Lori and Alex to decide that it was time to do in Chad? Perhaps after Lori helped Chad to reach celebrity & millionaire status, and she had talked Chad into making her out to be the sole heir to his kingdom? Maybe when Lori lost her "hotness" and Chad's "loin fire" finally chilled (Gag! 🤮), perhaps Chad would have fixed it so that Lori suddenly and mysteriously died at home and in bed like her tragic predecessor, Tammy. Oh, well. We'll never know. And thank heavens for that mercy!

Alex went back to his room! To get the gun! So he could have left and called the police. Instead, he came back with a gun and shot Charles and then, as he lay on the floor, he stood over him and shot him again. And they let him go!

I think I heard this before but I'm listening again, and I have to say - in addition to Lori not showing an ounce of emotion or shock at the fact that her husband of however many years had been murdered by her brother, but she took his phone?! THAT was her priority? To walk off with his phone? And then just like any other day take her son to school immediately afterward? (Of course we all know that that was part of the plan so that JJ wasn't there to witness it ) Those should have been red flags. It is amazing to me the daftness of some police officers/detectives etc.... One look at her behavior on video, on the body cam footage and then that subsequent interview, not only was she not surprised at the murder, she showed ZERO emotion other than near ELATION at the fact that her husband had been murdered! Huge HUGE red flags! I'm certain that she said/did something to get Tylee in on the story. Obviously they took his phone so that they could erase texts to erase the timeline of the scenario.

You should examine your own convoluted perception of Tylee, even with the aid of hindsight, before pointing out the daftness of other people. Here is a HUGE red flag for you: A 17 year old girl (Tylee) is told that her uncle just killed her dad, who is still laying dead inside the house, and she could not have cared less. In fact, she was partying in that same house only hours later. _I'm certain that she said/did something to get Tylee in on the story._ ↑Talk about someone being daft.↑

From what I hear, she took his phone and ran back into the house with it when Charles was putting JJ in the car. Charles went back in to get the phone, and Alex shot him. Lori deliberately lured him in by taking his phone so Alex could shoot him.

@@John.Flower.Productions You should get some of your daft facts straight too... Tylee was only 16 (not 17) and had a lot of manipulation pulled on her by her own mother throughout her entire short life. She had a lot of emotional issues because of it, as well as chronic health issues. Do I think LE bumbled their investigation, heck yeah, indubitably! Does anyone in the public have 💯 percent vision on this horribly disgusting case, yeeeeah.. NO! We all want to be an armchair detective critiquing the entire case and making connections where there might actually be none! This entire family situation is so incredibly sad, totally disgusting, and possibly preventable, IMO!

@@ChristinaB9782 She was a few weeks shy of being 17 and even stated that she was 17 because she was about to have a birthday. _We all want to be an armchair detective critiquing the entire case and making connections where there might actually be none!_ She was just as knowledgeable/involved in the murder of Charles Vallow as Lori; completely culpable both legally and morally. She participated in the conspiracy before/during/after, which makes her a murderer. Period.
